I’m looking at a legally registered “Aerial Atom” type car in another state .
I can keep that states registration for various reasons . So let’s not go there .
The question is if Johnny law pulls me over what happens ?
Speeding tickets / shenanigans aside .
I missed out on the street legal rail dune buggy era in Texas.
    Coulda would shoulda .

I think as long as the registration is current they won't generally complain, but if it's more than a year old that could be an issue. I know people who have moved here from out of state and got ticketed and fined when they got pulled over and hadn't registered here. Hopefully somebody that know chapter and verse of the law can chime in.

The name on the registration is your sons. Junior. He’s in town visiting and you’re playing with his car. :D

Just buy it, you won’t drive it anyway! :p

I drive Colorado registered "kit type" car in Texas with Colorado plates, they give me the look but never have been pulled over.
