812 Replacement Rumors

Can anyone confirm when we will see the new car online in the photo? No earlier than tomorrow evening euro time due to time zones?

 

The sales manager at another dealer than mine has seen the car. Was probably shown it because he deals with lot of the Top clients. Dealer said the renders in this thread are very close to the car - but that’s already been pointed out. Great work creating the renders.

No pretensions. They asked me again to hypothesize the car: a ridiculously long wheelbase. It’s all crooked and fugly. But it is made with love. This endless waiting is as annoying as the fog, the rain

From what I understand the unveil will be to cavalcade attendees tomorrow at 8pm and another event on Friday at 8pm in Miami. I’ll be at the Friday event and hope to send some pics. Excited!

Can someone post the final 2 renders by isot and the other artist (it was in blue).

We can crown the winner of these 2 great artists and contributors.

This engine was designed by AM, but built in a Ford factory in Germany. The new version is a reworked iteration. It has nothing to do with MB. apart from maybe having some technical input. It's not an AMG engine design.

 

The 812 has been removed from the model range on Ferrari.com

And IIRC the 812 GTS has been unavailable in the online configurator for some time, now it's back. Something's up in the IT department.

 

There whole Media Dept aka Web, Design, Marketing, IT etc has been bad for years with stuff like this

 

At the very least the designs are something new and fresh. I think they will age gracefully. Sometimes people have a Hard time coming to terms with a designs. This is when people call the car “ahead of its time”

 

The cavalcade participants have a NDA(non disclosure agreement) where that if information is leak there will be a permanent disqualifying from any future purchases; so that's why leaks have been tight lip. I know of 2 Cavalcade participants currently on the USA tour. Still hoping a leak comes out from a non participant

For those that have not seen the F167 and had to wait so long, that would be horrible outcome. A leak earlier would have been a great talking point. That point has well past now.
