    Had that happen to me in a rain storm flying into Cincinnati and blew a right tire. Had to de-plane while they replaced it. Quite an interesting process.

    What the hell was he trying to do? I've landed in very windy conditions and there was no way I would try a turn to downwind. I just 'sailed' the plane backwards with the engine at idle.

    Now just needs a new prop, engine teardown inspection, and maybe repairs to wing. Otherwise ..... I assume someone came out and towed them in.
