812 Replacement Rumors

Looks like a Nissan 400z

 

Like many here I've seen many reveals of new models over the years and I can't remember being this puzzled when looking at the real thing, trying to make sense of what I am seeing.

But, as always, patience is key. Little doubt it will look rather striking in the flesh.

 

Thankfully we don't share aesthetic choices. I think it's probably one of the worst cars to come from Ferrari.

 

To be fair I don't think the exact name was ever predicted but actually leaked just today. Only I didn't want to believe.

 

To be fair it has been a long time but was about 20/25. Are you experiencing buyers remorse after pre ordering this, or just offended that someone isnt afraid to have their own opinion, criticize and poke fun at Ferrari?

12C sound better than the actual name. I mean, we do get the logic behind it, but this is just absurd.

 

Look the name is perfect. It’s short sweet and simple . To pronounce it you say dodici cilindri.

Oh well. Hopefully they promise to keep building more V12s to sign Newey……….

After all, you’re buying the engine…..the body is thrown in for free……

Let's wait for the official photos before drawing conclusions. The interior, color choices, wheel designs, and whether parts are painted to match the body color or left black can significantly influence the overall impression. There's a lot to consider.

The leaked posts are the worst pictures you could put up. Wait another hour and you'll see the best angles !

 

Also, am I the only one who does not really care what my car is called? I buy it to drive it, not to call its name in bed.

Once they see it in high res many will change their mind. Once seen in flash though... mmm mmm

 

I haven't been offered one, but really want one from what we have seen so far.. Seems like its looks are not agreeing with many, so hopefully that means lots of cancelled orders so i can get a sooner rather than later build slot!

The front is nice and as expected. The side view looks strangely simple... The rear seems complex and not straighforward at all, probably will need to be understood.

 

Same.. People get way to invested in the names in my view.

Agreed, I think the image quality and color hide some beautiful curves on the side view that better images or videos will show off nicely, or so I hope.

 

The rear was what i had to get around on first view, but i think from these images it really works. I love the kicked up tail and the rear window.
