I assume that all after-market suppliers are going nuts with Photoshop right now, showing how they can improve the bits we all don't seem to be living. Can't wait for their stuff to be honest.
The lower front bumper has caught my attention quite a bit as well. I have been studying it wondering why this wasn’t cleaned up more.
Coupe for me. Although it has the funky roof design—following the LaFer’s silly heritage of weird graphics superimposed on body surfaces—it’s got a sleek profile with gif overall proportions. The Spider—LOVE the wheels, BTW—is more neutral with the more traditional sail panels but I hate the fake quarter ‘windows’.
Image Unavailable, Please Login Agreed. Certainly an improvement over 812 and a better design than SP3. The fake quarter windows on the 812 GTS are what kills the otherwise improvements on it to me. This cars FQW’s are somehow less bothersome however yes, they are really a bummer. Frankly if they just embraced them and incorporated them into part of the body color design they could still make it work. Look at this old junker they could have referenced.
Spider for me. More classic and because i love “your“ wheels, haha! And as i said ever before: YOU are the master when it comes to the details. Great Job by you and isot. Hope we can push you both in the future! It's fun to work with you. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That old POS?! But, yeah, seriously, why not just make it body color? I think it’s because it’s one less CF-option part to sell.
I think it’s too integrated into the structure of that spider roof mechanism and they’re just kinda stuck with it until the convertible system improves.
This shows how much opinions can differ. Don't think so. It is just that the F140 engine has reached its limits and that the V12 is no longer the flagship, so it only has to go by, instead of being at the forefront of performance. It is really strange that it has the exact same quoted 0-100, 0-200 and top speed numbers as the 2017 Superfast though! When was the last time that happened?!
It's a universal platform, shared with other Ferraris. Now, the fact they didn't use the trick suspension of the PS might be telling about its real purpose (i.e. to make a tall vehicle drive better without making it too stiff, but not necessary for a low car).
wish the back light bar is used the whole width, i hate the haptics, but my biggest regret is having that black box instead of Cavallino. (Don't know, maybe it is mandatory now, not where I live though. Would mind if it cost half of what they ask Don't think it's the best of F.M. designs, I prefer lafferari, sp1,sp3 and pista over it. Wish it was lighter, but I guess that was never a goal for them. Wish it wad more power, but don't think I would ever need it, but still. But I guess 140 reached it's peek. That being said, I really like it. I love it. It manages to be retro and modern , inspired and fresh at the same time and that is very hard. Yes F.M seems that cant design a car unless it has black roof but if you paint it In body color you , you lose the essens of the idea.Same with winglets. I really belive this will age well and that it is future classic .
It is simply a development of the Ferrari Roma design ideas, with added afterthought elements and mixed in a "Daytona" references - so quite an underwhelming design overall, as for a 812 successor. They should have called it just "Roma V12" - it would've been 100% justified and sounded also quite cool anyway.
Just put up daytime-running-lights bar to the middle of the headlights like in a Roma, and even the front face of the "new 12Cilindri" will be quite reminiscent of the Roma's design language.
