This is a car you ordered, just came in and is a 2020 model? I’m too chicken to order a white interior. Beautiful car, I’m just confused. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

Really great! I’d be curious for your owner impressions vs your Pista once you have some time in the car. If you’re inclined to share.
Personal opinion , Pista is Pista , slower than 296 AF (never try non AF) ....... but the feeling that you have on the steering , brake etc can not be compare ....... pista is a raw sharp machine with incredible sound
Thanks. I'll start off by saying that I like this car way more than I thought I would. I was skeptical of the 296 at launch and wasn't too hot on the design nor the powertrain. It started to grow on me so I put in an order and here we are... I'll try and articulate the Pista/296 comparison the best I can. This is purely from my perspective, so no flaming please if anyone disagrees with me. lol. Exterior: Pista is way more aggressive and looks the business. It exudes precision and power. Honestly, I think the Pista and the LaF are the 2 best looking Ferrari designs in the last 2 decades. Again, just my opinion... The 296 on the other hand is visibly smaller side by side with the Pista and is more understated. I guess you can say it's got a more elegant look to it. It's pure finesses versus aggression in the Pista. Interior: Sitting in the Pista, it feels like a race car inside. All the dry carbon, analog tach, fire extinguisher, and the big red start button give it a real sense of raw purpose inside. However, it does feel dated for sure. The 296 on the other hand is way more elegant and luxurious feeling. It may be the way the car is spec'd, but that's how it feels to me. I am not a fan like most here of the haptic controls, but am used to it from 2 years of Roma ownership. It's kind of second nature navigating it now. The 296 interior is much more modern and it just feels right. Outward visibility is good and you feel cocooned inside even though the cabin layout is pretty open. Driving Experience: The Pista is what it is. It's a track focused Ferrari and it let's you know it is the second you stomp on the throttle. The car feels edgy and you have to be on alert and give it respect. Again, it might have something to do with the Novitec springs and spacers, but the ride is much firmer than the 296. The 296 is a much easier car to drive. The suspension is very compliant, but somehow Ferrari suspension magic happens when you hit a corner. The car feels very planted and confidence inspiring. As for speed? It's stupid fast. I thought Ferrari did a great job with the Pista throttle response and no turbo lag, but the 296 throttle response is next level. Exhaust Note: I never liked the exhaust notes turbocharged V8 Ferrari's made and the Pista was no exception. I swapped out the stock unit for a Kline Inconel setup with 100 cell cats and the car sounds proper now. Once the exhaust gets heated up, it gives the Pista a proper sound. It is raspy and high pitch at WOT. I was very surprised with the 296 exhaust note though. It's high pitch, but very silky. It's almost Lexus LFA ish IMO. Overall, it's an extremely pleasant sound. I actually really love how it sounds. Which car do I prefer? BOTH! The Pista is the last of it's kind and will be special for a long time to come. I don't see myself parting with it anytime soon. I think Ferrari did a great job with the 296 powertrain and driving dynamics. It's a real pleasure to drive. I think I'll find myself grabbing the 296 keys more often, but will opt for the Pista when I feel more adventurous.
the carbon fiber trim looks a lot better than the matte black trim. high gloss black trim would look very nice also if available.
Gloss Black not being an option was such a shame. Like the McLaren black pack. Carbon still doesn’t match the gloss black trim on the mirror arms and the A pillar.
You can have gloss black but you must order carbon then they add on the charge for gloss black . I considered this but then just went full carbon .
I know my dealer priced it for me at like $40k. The McLaren black pack is less than half the price of full carbon.
Went out and snapped a couple new ones last night. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
