The wheels are awful, generic affairs. The wheels on the Spider are so much better.

 

wish they exploit idea more I really really like them.

 

I’m amazed no one yet noticed the swastika look to those wheels. Unintentional of course, but that struck me from the beginning. Oh, well. Just me.

I’m more surprised that the direction isn’t reversed. Reversed would be the typical direction of Ferrari wheels.

This day and age, I’m sure some people are triggered by the sight/sound of a Ferrari. Just imagine the emotional trauma these wheels will induce!

Worse for me is that I saw a car yesterday—Honda Accord, I think—with a very similar design and I was thinking man, that’s just tacky looking, LOL.

 

Can someone explain the meaning of putting that matte cheap black plastic between the front bumper and the must-be-black fascia?

Are the wheels handed or just one design for both sides? I know I could just look through pics, but easier to ask, LOL.

 

My guess is that they will soon introduce a third wheel option for this car

The spider wheels were 100% accurately predicted by you!

 

I believe they are handed. Typically the Ferrari directional wheels are handed that they appear to cut into the air or dig into the ground rather than unfurling.

 

I think I said this backwards. Regardless, the directional wheels…. I didn't mind the design. Just thought it was a bit much. I guess that’s why they have the other option. Some people want loud and some want more subdued.

 

The Spider wheels are also the standard wheel option on the coupe.

 

I’m not very impressed by the standard wheels. Very much like the milled ones. Hopefully there’s another option as well.

 

I was hoping to see the 812 competizione standard wheels, like they did with the 812 with the TDF wheels....maybe later?

The 12 C coupe comes in both versions with the Spider's chrome and black rims. IMO aesthetically the Spider's rims are much prettier.
