Legge seems VERY shaky in her demeanor... not much confidence in the car, or herself, it seems...???

she brushed the wall yesterday, had two big moments on her run today, and her teammate has wrecked twice in 3 days. so she’s probably regretting that Coyne deal about now….

neither Coyne car looked very stable

I like this format for Sunday
Instead of 6 hours of bump day waiting you had

    --Solid hour of 12>6 qualifying
--Just one hour of bump day
    --Top 6 shootout

    All 3 "events" were exciting

Oh, and Leigh Diffy needs to STFU

if you have to drag qualifying out over two days, this is a decent way to do it

A big day for Penske: after having his cars qualify 1-2-3 at the Brickyard, Joey Logano then wins the NASCAR All-Star Race (and $1 milllion) at North Wilkesboro, leading all but 1 lap!

A big day for sponsor Pennzoil as well. Not only was Scott McLaughlin's pole-winning IndyCar sponsored by them, so was Logano's winning car in the NASCAR race!

Will for sure be a fan for the 500. with some good strategy, he's got a shot at it.

If he were to win, could he still get to Charlotte?

that's a great question. time is very tight assuming everything is on schedule (no rain delays etc)

post 500 winner media goes well into the evening, will be interesting to see how they handle it if Larson wins. and I think he has a decent shot.

I love the 500 and that was 2 great days of it. Has any rookie ever placed as high as Larson since Mansel?

Stewart inherited pole in 96 (qualified 2nd)

    Montoya qualified 2nd in 2000

Alonso was 5th in 2017 (same as Larson)

As of now, it looks like the 500 will be a no-go for Sunday. 75% chance of thunderstorms, some severe, from 11 AM right throught to sundown. Monday looks more likely, but not until after 2 PM.

    +10,000.

Diffy is fine when he's on script the but second he starts ad-libbing, run for the Outback.

For those that bet, Herta said more or less, from everything he's experienced and hearing, the winner is going to be from top 5 and anything behind that won't be able to work their way up.

McLaren now considering putting Siegel in the car if Larson has to bail for Charlotte

I dunno, previous winner with 22 starts or a rookie who already crashed twice. seems like a no brainer
