Is there anything comparable in red to Giallo Triplo Strato ?

Well how about that. I walked past that car at Laguna and assumed it was Metalizzato.

So now I have to correct myself - I have seen TRS in person!

Portofino. It's quite similar to Coburn but perhaps less sparkle.

A few days ago I saw a Rosso Magma 296 in person and it had some ... I would call it... "artificial orange" tones in the shadows and light. How about Coburn, is it in somehow also tinted orange or brown ?

As you had so many red Ferraris, may I ask which one of the different "Reds" is your personal favorite ?

Would you mind sharing some first fotos with us ? Each color can look different on different cars. That would be very nice !!

 

I agree that Rosso Maranello is the most beautiful in the sun. In the shade it is very unremarkable. Magma has a similar effect to Maranello, but is more dynamic and has more copper and sometimes an odd salmon effect. I don’t regret getting it on the 812GTS. I’m considering Maranello again for the 12C.

 

I did Maranello on the Purosangue as I thought it fit the car. We will see soon I guess.
I use to be straight RC when I did red but these are a lot more interesting and beautiful. Sunshine definitely helps bring out the beauty in all of them IMO.

 

I think Magma is probably the most striking.

 

I think that’s perfect. I almost did that as well, but went Libano which seemed very dynamic and beautiful on the dealer swatches.

 

I wonder how Rosso Lipstick compares in the Rosso Parthenon of shades?

Indoors for this color unfortunately compared to U-Boat Commander's wonderful outdoors Rosso extravaganza!

 

I know it looks promising.

Beside the fact that any 296 would have busted $425k, the cost of the special color was a ridiculously high moving target--soooo, I chose Rosso Corsa as a "free" color .

I changed from Celeste (12k) to azzurro Monaco (16,800) when they jumped Celeste to $32k as I went to lock in.

I got my window sticker on Friday as the car is set for dealer arrival next week.

Azzurro Monaco (2 layer) is now $37,000. Bewildered, I messaged another member who said his SF90xx 3/4 layer paint was now over $42k.

 

I know prices were going up, but wow. Better be of better quality.

 

Glad to hear you are getting your car this week. Seems your car, jm2 car along with mine arrived at port all at the same time first week of may. I'm hopeful I will hear something soon on mine.

My answer to this is finally found after my trip to the Atelier in Maranello. The answer is "no"
