I am now a little confused and perhaps this invites a whole new thread... What is your Ferrari/dealership experience? I routinely am invited to participate in Ferrari SpA events in Europe - whether it is a Classiche Pilota, driving the Targo Florio, etc. Then at the dealership, invites to F1 viewing parties, new model shows and other special events. Keep in mind my newest Ferrari is the 2011 458 Italia - which I bought off consignment. I know it is not because of my devilishly handsome good looks...
I wonder how many are in the “Top” tier ? I thought I read here from one of the members that he tried to get a 499P Modificato and got turned down - he has a big list of pretty epic Ferraris, races them, etc … MDS
500-600 Top All those limited model spider goes to Top Among Top, I believe there are people who is ranked as Top but actually above Top. Those who do XX or F1 programs and race team owners and big sponsors. People like Powerslidelover. These will get cars like 499P or LaFerrari Aperta. How many cars you have to own to be Top differs from country to country or region to region or even dealership to dealership. <— speculation from me. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
And then there’s the guy / gal in the #1 spot - wonder if they know - lol. Be a great conversation starter at a C & C. MDS
Just heard something interesting in regards to this from an owner who plays in this game…. Basically a different list of people who can order an Icona vs. ordering the new F80 MDS
My local dealer found out I had a car and didn’t take it there for service and didn’t call me back lol
I bought my 430 CPO from the dealer and used their service for annuals and a few other bits. Aiming to maintain my ten-steps-below-bottom rating (one notch above Dale) with the Mother Ship. Until last year when my car threw an F1 position sensor code and dealer service hit me with a $20k+ estimate. They decided the car needed a new pump and a bunch of other transmission components. I told them that I understood that their hands may be tied in what they can dive into rather than just replacing everything, but that I wasn’t going to play along. We parted ways. An independent got my car sorted for a small fraction of the dealer’s estimate. Somehow, they were able to fix it by replacing, er, the position sensors.
