F8 Spiders are not 60k under sticker. Not for normal cars, just in case you trot out something with 20k miles or a ridiculous original 550k window or something. My '21 is well-equipped and was a 362k MSRP, please show me where it is selling for 280k somewhere.

****Just did a search on Cargurus, 112 available and lowest is about 400k.

I mean, where do people even come up with something like that? 30 seconds of research proves them wrong. Market has softened for sure but not THAT bad, lol

I was just saying in general. I've had more people with no idea of what they are talking about tell me stuff about my car just because a youtuber incorrectly said so.

The guy is just too irritating to watch let alone believe anything he says. I am disappointed we are giving his channel marketing juice via this thread

Hustling buying personal cars and making brag videos for additional income while his partners run the auto financing company? Gee, tough gig.

This has been discussed a ton. It was not a 2 year run and ended up being 3-4 years and they produced thousands of them.

They produced WAY less of them than 458’s and 488’s. Why is this a mystery or a debate? It’s simple math and I guess you could say COVID helped make the car more scarce than other models…

And not only is it the last (until ICE comes back again lol), it’s also the most powerful V8 they’ve ever made so all that combined, plus it’s aesthetics, will certainly keep this car up top as far as desirability and value.

On cargurus Out of 193 F8 for sale there are 26 that are 2023. There were plenty of spiders being delivered in 2023. Production of the model 2023 model year started in September 2022 and there are some that have production stamps of June 2023. So they made almost a full year of 2023 spiders (1 tributo which is typical as they stop coupe production towards the end and focus on spiders)

You do understand that 193 cars over a FOUR model year period, means less than 4 cars per state, right?!! If you break it down to spiders and tributos, that’s less than 2 available for sale per state!! This isn’t an insanely little tiny number of cars to you? I mean how is this a ‘they made thousands of them’ kind of situation? Try to pick a specific car within reason… try a 2020 black Tributo. Try a yellow 2023 spider. Try a white 2021 etc etc…. You’ll find like 1 - 2 or zero of any simple combo you try… Anyway, apparently people have way different notions or definitions of rare, scarce, plentiful etc..,. Sigh. I need a nap now.

Great logic. I guess that means since there are 1978 Tesla model Y for sale in the same 4 year period that means there are 40 per state?? Those model Y sure are rare. (The number of cars for sale is in no indicative of the rarity. They sold 1.2 million model Y in 2023 and only 1978 for sale with model years 2020-2023 ).

ok fair enough, BUT value and pricing is based on how many are available for purchase, not how many were manufactured..... Take a toyota Tacoma for example. God knows how many millions were made but try to find one. There's aren't many compared to a lot of trucks and therefore, they have always been the 2nd least depreciating vehicle behind the Wrangler.... this is true for like the past 40 years... wrangler because its unique and Tacoma cos you cant find one. Both cars are crap to me but that doesn't change the market.....so again, the availability to purchase is what determines how strong the market is.... supply and demand basics.... and 'supply' is how many you got to choose from, not how many were made.... and as you've already figured out, the ratio of how many were made to how many are available makes it worth even more.... if they made 1M and only 100 available, that's more valuable than if they made 1000 and 100 available.

Think we got wires crossed. I wasn’t talking about market and values. I was referring to the fact that there were plenty of 2023 spiders produced by the fact there are a number for sale. I agree with your examples above for values and the 911 is also a great example.
