It is obvious to anyone with a little bit of intelligence (not ChatGPT). Even the posts from Autohaus of Boston in this thread and others tells me more than enough to stay well away. And don't you worry about where I go—it's clearly none of your concern.
Why would I care where you go. I have no skin in this. I could care less. I was simply pointing out that given one post clearly caused by some misunderstanding ( is anyone out $$? even) and subsequent posts supporting the shop your conclusion that that shop is bad makes little logical sense to me. That’s it. You don’t know the shop, don’t know the full story but have such a strong opinion. Amusing to me - yes. Most of the people that responded simply reflected positive experiences with the guy. Me included. Such venom. Waste of space.
It’s obvious to anyone with a little intelligence …. That’s a good one after such a silly non data driven conclusion. . and chat gpt will be “ smarter” than us.. all of us .. quite soon. Getting along w people will become more important. Venom… yikes…
Being a sponsor doesn't buy any special moderation perks, including killing bad reviews such as this one. However, we want what's posted to be honest personal opinions or experiences, good or bad. It's not unusual to see first time posters start with a complaint or a rave review thread on this site. However, when a first time poster finds a low activity thread (a search for "Autohaus Boston" shows this complaint thread about 30th in search results) and posts a strong opinion as a "disinterested party", then it does raise an eyebrow. We often see this pattern when an existing user wants to post something negative about another party without attribution or traceability and they start by creating a "sock puppet" account. We're hard on duplicate registrations here, but we're especially hard on them if it's done for purposes of deception. Due to the atypical behavior, I reviewed your account data and found that you registered and posted through a VPN proxy server and registered with a disposable email address. Some users do use VPN proxy servers as their standard method of connecting, but the use of a disposable email address means that your only interest is the immediate action and there is no interest in maintaining an account and becoming a member of the community. Why would other users pay attention to this kind of "sock puppet" behavior? If you feel wronged, then there's a couple of things to do to provide evidence, not denials, to prove you're not a "sock puppet". Since you claim you just became a Ferrari owner, you can post a picture of your recent purchase with a sign on it that says "F-chat" and today's date. You can also email me privately at (ylshih at ferrarichat.com) with a pic of your driver's license.
I have known Tony since he opened his shop after leaving Ferrari of New England. He currently has my 2015 California T in his possession to deal with an oil leak at the gearbox and I will be more than happy to report upon my experiences in detail as the car progresses (especially after an very high initial estimate from the dealer), and I am confident in his abilities to fix the car and stand behind his work. I assure you I am no one's sock puppet, with more than 2500 posts and nearly 20 years here. I suggest you listen to your "friend" who recommended his shop instead of one disgruntled customer who got sideways over a miscommunication issue. Image Unavailable, Please Login
As a site owner, you should be aware that using a VPN and secondary email addresses are strong methods for protecting one's privacy online, especially in an era where privacy is increasingly scarce. Everyone should be employing these tools. I am currently making this post without a VPN, which should be sufficient to confirm that there is no direct relationship with the OP. That being said, I find the culture of attacking posters here highly disturbing. Like so many people on this thread knowing intimate details about the OP's car, name, etc. Why would I post pictures of my car, let alone actually share my name, photograph, and address? Do you have that information for all site members? So, yes, you are right that I will be leaving the site, although not for the reasons you have mentioned. That said, I do appreciate your policy of not being biased towards Autohaus despite their sponsorship of your website. Lastly, you and everyone else are missing the point entirely. The issue is not miscommunication or the magnitude (or the lack thereof) of the problem; it is the responses from Autohaus that are most concerning. Their replies have been flippant and show absolutely no regard for the customer. Additionally, how did the other customers know details about the OP's car? At one point, they are also surprised by this information. This is a very unprofessional business practice. And, here you go: Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've already said a VPN isn't unusual, but a disposable email address has a different status than just a second or anonymous email address. The IP you're posting from is also actually in the same geo region as most of the posters on this thread, so it neither confirms nor denies your location as being different than other users. As I take your post as a whole is a refusal to provide proof, publicly or privately, that your efforts to maintain "privacy" are not based on deception and you have stated an intention to leave the site, then let's formalize that with a permanent ban. Your concurrence with the OP is still on the record, but so is the concern as to your motives still on the record.
Do not waste your time with this crowd, The small minds can only open so far. It is funny how auto haus's account has been suspended and tony is now a newbe. Find a good shop for yourself and let these fools follow their leader. This is a place I come for information only. Too many small minds cause chaos. Too many drama queens.
I believe sponsor accounts show as suspended if they do not renew their sponsorship and are restored once they do. The sponsorship account for AutoHaus is currently active, not suspended.
Well, this has been entertaining but I would be willing to give Autohaus Boston the benefit of a doubt based on the evidence presented here. No one can please all of the people all of the time and while the saying that "the customer is always right" has been quoted often, in my experience that is far from true.
Some people talk out of they ass with out knowing what AutoHaus of Boston represents to the Entire country. Image Unavailable, Please Login
