How would I remove the clarion nz503 that’s installed? Assuming I need to get the keys not sure where to put them.

i bought this to remove the Clarion NZ503. Is that correct?

The floating touchscreen units just don’t look right in these cars

I think you have to remove that black plastic trim piece. You just have to be careful as there are small plastic tabs on the back of it that can break. You should be able to grab that trim piece and squeeze it from top and bottom to remove it. That should give you access to use the keys.
Or wait until you get the keys and see if they will slide down the sides of the unit with the trim piece still installed.

 

Got mine delivered next day on Sunday and put it in.

It looks perfect and sounds fine though my pioneer amp and sub.

only thing that’s an issue is the sub crackles when I turn the car off. So I’ll need to address that.

For $150 dropped at my front door I couldn’t be happier with it. As I am ordering cables right now... Does anyone if Amazon has a GPS adapter needed to plug the factory antenna into the Power Acoustik?

It'll take a little time to receive. I ordered it on a Sunday night, granted Monday was Memorial Day but I received it the following Monday via USPS.

i still dont know what the GPS antenna is for? it does not have navigation unless you are using the carplay?

 

Not sure what the GPS antenna does. I'm being a bum and upgrading the 996TT audio first. F430 next.

Saves you from popping the speedo surround and swapping the antenna. Should make the wilic end into the SMA like the one in the box.

Just got mine installed. Everything works great. I just wanted to share a small problem I had so you can save yourselves some headaches if you come across the same issue. I have an aftermarket system already in the car, HU, amp, and subwoofer. The head unit was super old and didn't even have bluetooth, let alone CarPlay. When the new power acoustic HU was initially installed everything worked great except that I could not hear anyone on the other end of the phone. They could hear me, the music worked fine, turn by turn worked fine, etc. It turns out that this HU only puts the phone/messages/Siri through the front speakers. Mine was installed with the RCA's plugged into the rear pre-outs. So the music worked fine when the fader was set all the way to the rear, but nothing when it was set to the front. Simply switching the RCA cables to the front pre-outs fixed the problem. Just a tip for anyone using the pre-outs with an aftermarket amp.

Thank you. So to confirm my connections and wires should look like yours right? So i only need to connect 5 wires?

 

Yes, also the connections to the little white connector. (Blue/white is the AMP on signal, Brown is the handbrake (connects to the ground.))

 

Created the harness based on the pics. Now where do these plug in?

Nice clean install.

The Pioneer flip-out DIN I took out (installed by PO) must have been wired by a 10 year old. Unused wires, everything taped together… smh. Problem solved fortunately.

 

Ok installed! Wow this thing is the best thing ever.


But the biggest problem is that my Claion nx503 Ferrari unit has a trim.
