Does anybody know if they will fit?
Here is a page that shows the parameters. 296 https://tirewheelguide.com/sizes/ferrari/296-gtb/2022/#Ferrari-296-GTB-2022-2023 488 https://tirewheelguide.com/sizes/ferrari/488-gtb/2020/ So I guess they won't properly fit
During the test phase, all the 296 prototypes photographed weared the 488 pista spider wheels so... I think they will fit.
Thats true, I have seen those photos, too. But depending on where you live I cannot recommendate using them as Ferrari will give you trouble if they find out concerning warranty. I tried to officially order 488 Pista wheels for my 488. They argued that those wheels "are not supposed to carry the weight per axle". So take care, that in any case of problem with the 296 (like electronic issues as many have with the low-voltage-battery) you change your wheels back.

This is cool info. I also had a second set of wheels for my now departed 488 that I used on track. I was just getting to sell it since I was told those don't fit on my new 296.... Sent from my SM-S908U1 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Used them twice already and will keep using them in the future. Only problem is the rubbing inside the wheel wells under track use. I will need to change both linings in the back as they may not be fulfilling their protective role anymore. I will try to provide pix when my car goes for its next maintenance in mid june to show what happened. These damages are not caused by the fit of the tires but because the car is so heavy that during track use it cannot hide that fact and even hardened suspensions did not prevent this from happening.
The dampers (shock absorbers in american English) might make a difference. Changing wheels is always risky.
I agree 100%. Just want to add that according to my experience, even with totally stock non AF 296 (OEM tires/wheels and springs), the 296 has had torn inner wells front and rear during track use (in Spa). My changing of the springs for stiffer ones is my attempt to prevent that to some extent but mostly to make it "better" under heavy breaking and cornering which seems, to me, to be the case.
