Wow - seems like a heck of a deal even with those miles. The CS is still such a beautiful car, hard to believe it is 20 years old.
"High" mileage, but what a deal, even when they were asking $225k. If I'd had the space and funding for another right now, I'd have been all over this. There's a 26k mile one for sale for $240k. One day these will be looked back upon as steals.
Agreed the miles were a bit to the higher side but the condition of that car should command more than 200k. Buyer came out ahead on that auction.
This yellow one just popped up and looks like it was scooped up almost as quickly. From what I can tell: - 9,076 miles - Not yet listed on challenge-stradale.com (!) (138126) - $329,900 asking, presumably received with listing up for less than a day. Unicorn. One of you lucky bastards? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not many people have heard about some auction sites. It’s a huge risk listing with low or no reserve unless is BaT and for some cars C&B. No comments, no bids just no traffic
I think RF is about to control the CS market [emoji15] they just added another one in black : https://www.ryanfriedmanmotorcars.com/inventory/?make=Ferrari Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
You're right. When I was looking at it at Boardwalk Ferrari's site the other day, it literally disappeared as I was looking. Must have just been bugs as they were loading the listing up. Sorry for the bad information.
sold yesterday, £160k hammer. £184k all in https://rmsothebys.com/auctions/ch24/lots/r0014-2003-ferrari-challenge-stradale/
I've seen quite a lot of this with several different type of cars...Unfortunately anyone can buy an ad and advertise a car with ridiculous value, then claim it's sold X time later for undisclosed price. 600K is insane given that at auction the silver car sold for just over a quarter of that just weeks separating each other. With so many cars sitting at a third of this value not selling for years (not months, YEARS), I really doubt one selling for 3x the average value just because it's blue. IMO typical market manipulation...
This is the one that sold on BAT in June 2023 for $201k. Price not listed at RF yet. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2004-ferrari-360-challenge-stradale-27/
Used 2004 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale For Sale (Call for price) | Ryan Friedman Motor Cars LLC Stock #2011B Was listed last week for 350k... now only "call for price"
One and done. Drove 8 hrs to find the CS totally misrepresented. Then I was insulted by his 2nd in command as “not a serious buyer”. Standard NY. BS. Ryan was apologetic for his staffs comment however, still doesn’t change the fact that the car was not as it was stated. Hopefully others have had a more positive experience.
Good to know. I’m sick of dealers misrepresenting their stock. Merit Partners, Miller, and O’Gara seem to do a good job. I’m sure there are numerous others who are honest but I’m willing to beat most misrepresent to varying degrees.
Yep. My CS was very misrepresented when I bought it. Possibly unknown to them, but I don't know how anyone professional could miss that much stuff.....
they show 3 Strads; 33, 15 and 6 k miles; asking about the 6k, no service records, no window seem available, so I said I'll send it to F LI for a PPI, and they steer me to "Pete" at Universal who supposedly "does F LI's race cars"
I owned the black one until last month. I can give you info / scoop on service history for the past 9+ years. DM me if interested.
