I believe he's saying the 12 Cilindri will have the same acceleration/power feel as the 812C, just doesn't have the stiffer spring etc.

The biggest difference between the 812 and the Competizione is the way the front end handles. The one of the COmpetizione is the most extraordinary thing for a front center. He sticks to the road like never before, and is also much more direct. Which is not easy because on a rear-wheel drive, the steering gear is the rear axle because it is the one that prints the load.
On the 12C, this is the configuration on which the engineers worked. And if you add to the 12C
stiffer springs, in my opinion you are not far from getting the dynamic package of the Competizione... I can't wait to see the effect of the reduced wheelbase and the new geometry settings on the front axle of the 12C.
This is what I was saying

I have owned a 550 which i really like very clean lines owned a 2001 550 and a Barchetta sold both WISH I had the 550 back .. I also owned a 599 to me it was a great car but felt to big. I also have owned two F12s which I like better then the other two .. not a fan of the 812 just don't care for the looks . I do like the new car like the clean lines prefer the coupe if it didn't have that weird black window and foil or what ever .. The 12 cilindre ..spider is a winner love the clean lines ..... got to see it in person..
the coupe may look very nice in BLACK..

I'll say it again this is the best looking front engined Ferrari since the original Daytona IMO

This is music to my ears and sorry to hear as well.
it's a great promise for the 12C but it also diminishes the Competizione as well.
AT least the 12c will be an amazing drivers car.

I know it has been mentioned before but same playbook as the f8…a more daily version of the pista. I love mine and since I didn’t get the nod of the 812c I will gladly sign up for the “regular” version.

Interesting that two tone body work (BIC2) is an option. I have yet to see a 12c without it and assumed it was standard.

Well, besides the bicolor roof there are some other options selected automatically at no extra cost like lifter, front radar, surround view, electric trunk door and a wireless smartphone charger.

Interestingly, the BIC2 code is exactly the same as the optional "two tone bodywork/carrozzeria bicolore" on the SF90/296 models.

I think that if the 12C two-tone was actually something inherent to the design, it wouldn't be on the personalization plate as an item (even an automatic selection one), unless a contrasting color is optional for the two-tone, such as silver, Blu Nart or some other color instead of black.

Excited to spec my spider for the UK and was wondering if anyone has info on the paint pricing

From the UK price list: Classic colours, Additional colours, Ferrari historical colours and Special colours are all ~8.5K GBP (which I find reasonable). The special colours are almost 3x the price which I would like to try and avoid (I got a bit stung on the price increase of the paint on my 296 GTS)

I'm a bit confused about how ferrari categorize the colours, and it appears to change model by model and over time. Does anyone know if the colours listed on the online configurator are the ~8K options, and then anything else is the ~25K price (e.g. Blu America, Blu Hembery, Viola Hong Kong etc)

What I believe the classic colours on the online configurator, like rosso imola for example, are the one that costs I believe the 8.5K GBP you are referring to.
In Italy those are 10500 euro right now.
