I can echo this, there's an irony that in an electric car the only issues I am having are electric related ones that aren't coming from the battery!

lots of fiddling buttons and switches that work one day and don't work the next, sometimes the volume control won't work etc, it's annoying but it is what it is

May you never experience thermal runaway or dead cells, those are the main problems batteries exhibit...

Oh it's not a question of which I prefer. I prefer the SF90. The F8 feels like a faster version of the 488. I won't say the 488 feels like a faster 458 because they are very different. That being said, I don't feel like it feels like . . . a Ferrari. Now that might be intentional but it just feels different from even the V12's (FF/Roma/812) or even a California/Portofino. I still contend that it's too fast. Fortunately, it's not unsafe too fast (cough cough I'm looking at you 918 Spyder and every Viper ever made) but the mind boggling speed is really just too much.
I'm not sure I recall turbo lag in the F8. I do remember searching for it on a long drive but I never really found any. Perhaps your turbos aren't synched correctly? Anyways, once the 296 gets here (6 cyl. . . Enzo is rolling in his grave) and the Purosangue arrives (4 doors. . . Enzo is rolling again) I'll have a better idea of electric vs 12 cyl.

Enzo didn't really have a problem with the number of cylinders. He authorised many 6 cylinder race cars. even 4 cylinder ones! He objected to a cheaper and less quick Ferrari, that's why he named the 246 a Dino. The 296 is neither cheap, nor slow though. He would have been proud! He would have been happy with the Purosangue too. The Ferrari Pinin Sedan was supposed to go into production but Enzo had reservations about its torsional rigidity and quality. He liked the concept though.

It exists in all turbo charged cars to some degree. The difference with the SF90 and 296 GTB over that of a F8 or 488 is that the turbo lag is masked by the electric motors in the hybrids which act as a sort of “boost filler”.

from time to time you have to deal with a manchild, hard to believe that someone with the acumen and ability to earn enough money to buy a Ferrari can display such level of mouthbreather level of immaturity but hey you never know how people stumble over things in their life.

There is no bubble, I bought the car, I am having fun with it, I have had no issues with the car and even if I do it is under warranty, I will just send it back to Ferrari.

I have other cars to drive just as many other owners here I am sure do, I couldn't care less if it depreciates to zero, so all your blabbering is counterproductive and ineffectual, all you do is expose your lack of maturity in-spite of your age, aside of the fact that you vacuum the joy out of a room which it's easy fixed by skipping past your comments you create harm by spreading misinformation which is harmful to the community at large and that's concerning me because it is not fair you do so without being held accountable.

I am all for full disclosure, being open and authentic, if something is genuinely wrong I would like to know it and have it discussed in the open, personally I would not sign a NDA to keep harmful things under wraps which could have the potential to cause serious harm, that's like someone asking me to sign a NDA in order to cover a crime, I would never do that.

To those who are weak of character and hide these things I say it is up to you to live with the morality of your decision but until I see proper evidence of a large number of issues with this model and not some outliers which it does happen with every new product I am not interested in reading your nonsense, provide proper evidence and I will be all ears.

Interesting data point. I spoke with my service manager today and he told me they’ve worked on 106 SF90s and 296s (combined) since 2021. How many have been bricked? ZERO.

He said the cars have been dead nuts reliable overall. Only major issues he’s seen are when customers don’t keep their cars plugged in and both batteries go dead.

Very interesting. We have had quite a few here at the shop...but nonetheless...even when plugged in regularly, we have at least 3 go totally dead on us.

Were you using extension cords? It's extremely odd that the cars would go dead if the chargers were showing the correct blue charging lights. Honestly, the more I learn, the more my first assumption regarding problems with these cars is some sort of operator error.

  20. Did you really expect him to say anything else?

Like maybe, "Yeah, every other SF90 that comes in here is on a flatbed and dead as doorknob, takes a damn crane just to unload the damn car."

You mean do I expect him to lie to me? No. He’s been honest with me to a ridiculous degree for years. He told they’ve had issues, but they are all the same issues every other car has. But zero bricks. Sorry to disappoint you!

We have tried multiple ways. Direct plug etc. It could be that there were prior charging issues ahead of the cars arriving to us too. It just becomes coincidental that it seems to happen more often than not.

It is odd. But knowing it happens at your place so often compared to other places would make me think twice about leaving my car at your facility.

That is just it, it is not all of them. It was just a few. I also have a few instances of these cars presenting these issues for some of my clients SF's that have not even been by to see us yet. In fact, we are waiting to work on them until the issue are resolved. I have a very solid source whom we work with closely that was a technician for Ferrari for 20+ years. He has seen these issues himself quite a few times through no fault of the owners etc.

I'm at the point where I freely acknowledge that "some" have had issues that were not the fault of the owners. Thats' indisputable. But I honestly believe most issues are due to owners not charging their cars properly or consistently. I also believe that the large majority of the cars have zero issues at all, and that any issues that do occur are exaggerated and focused on by non-SF/296 owners who want very badly for the Ferrari hybrids to fail. There's no there, there.
