Matthias, one question concerning your engine: which pistons and camshafts did you install?

    Thanks

the car ran on a replacement DinoPlex 104
when I received the car, a repacement DinoPlex AEC 104 was in the car....
we put a MSD 6AL-2 in an original DinoPlex AEC 103 housing, so everything looks perfectly original....

to get the Winterburn Ignition into an original Dinplex AEC 103 housing was quite a challenge

The winterburn Ignition box is a great unit, runs perfectly on my car, with HC pistons and fast road cams did you remap the ignition (engine) adv ? + intrigued what static adv you set the car to.

Looks really good. I love the tasteful restoration. I still need to finish my models of your cars. I always leave something off, so it's not completely finished.

I even try to be perfectly accurate with my real cars, but never finish them. I wish more owners researched like you do.

My 1969 1750 which replicates the 1970 SPA second place car. It was like a BIG model to me :)
I did all the cosmetic work myself and I have the big Carello driving lights, but never finished the brackets.

500 Km now on the clock with the new engine.....
Ferrari didn`t put the airfilter into the Dino for Le Mans.... just the air tube to the air collection box on top of the carburetors....
to avoid dirt into the carburetors Ferrari put some stuff into the tube, see picture... still the original material, just cleaned....
the intake noise is unbelievable good.... pure racing sound!

Any more updates. It looked almost done other than a few missing stickers and the testing.
