I already had PPF and ceramic coating done by Rhino Detailing, but now I'm trying to find a good car wash service to come and wash the car. Where does everyone get their car washed? I live near South Coast Mall
    Thanks!

If you couldn't do it yourself, who would you trust?

Summertime, I enjoy doing it myself. Other than that, I have a guy come and wash/detail my cars when I choose. Sometimes I even go to a high quality car wash if it's last minute.

I used to spend hours washing my cars before I had kids, and since then, I've struggled to find someone who cares about the cleanliness of my cars as much as I do, but I finally found someone. I highly highly recommend Jonathan at Best in Class Detailing (https://bestinclassdetailing.com/home). He comes to my house regularly and washes one car each time. He takes his time (several hours per car) and does an excellent job. I cannot recommend him highly enough for maintenance washes (I have never used him for a more involved detailing project yet, but when the time comes, I will). A couple photos of his work below.

An update if it helps anyone. Also spoke to bestinclass and he seems awesome, really cares about the cars and decent pricing. I'm a bit far from him but he said he would come out for an additional fee so I'm considering it. One mechanic I used for my car (that services a lot of Ferraris, etc. and has a good rep) gave me a card of a guy, and I talked to him and he charges $50. It almost seems too cheap, but I may give it a shot. There is also a guy that comes by our neighborhood that does a lot of people's cars including my neighbor's 911. I may give him a shot, he did my Teslas once and it was fine but for some reason I'm hesitant about the Ferrari.

    any decent detailer does this.

you would know if he was really good if he asked you the brand of ceramic coat and ppf and then outlined the products he would use that compliment those. Certain brands work better than others with certain brands of ceramic coating and ppf.

you can spend all day researching this. All retailers make themselves seem better than the others and unique. They are good salespeople. Reputation (eg Rhino) is the best indicator. You saw all the types of cars in Rhinos shop, right? And the amount of those cars.

knowing questions to ask such as “what in your glass cleaner” as alcohol removes coating and many use alcohol based glass cleaner. As an example. For mobile, verify insurance

for basic wash routine , all detailer will not do as good of a job as an owner and it doesn’t take much time if you know what you are doing. I actually find it relaxing.

I have a guy who comes here with his own water. He takes his time and does a very thorough job. I'm in LA though.

I do it myself. Its not just about saving money, its about doing it right.

Fresh wash mitts that are never contaminated (takes 4 for a car). This little detail, as an example, can leave swirls in your car and even the best detailing shops don't do this. Even the two-bucket method has risk.

If anyone would like me to show you how to wash your car properly, I'm willing to come over and show you. No charge of course.

You need a pressure washer and a leaf blower and some chemicals (which I have tried most of them and found a good balance of price and quality).

It doesnt take too much time.
