Can I convince you to take a vacation in the mountains of NC? Perfect weather, 50 acres with a waterfall, your own creekside cabin and a 3000 sf garage for my cars. All I need is your help in simple services for each car!

As a wise man once told me, 40 wheels are a lot cheaper than 4 legs so yes, I will keep going

Thank you. It’s been a lifetime collection that came together in the last decade. Missing in the pictures you saw above are the big and little brothers Alfas.

Funny…of all the big engines in my garage…the 812 GTS, the Ford GT, the 458, the hot rod BB 512, etc..the one car that makes me laugh is the little 4C. You don’t need 500+ hp in the mountains. Lightweight and fantastic handling the little Alfa Romeo is a blast.
    Sorry @slm ….it’s staying put.

Good for you!!! I miss mine. It will be a collectible. I have done rallys with some big HP cars. That little car can embarrass them all if given the opportunity.

I just realized I hit 20 years on this forum. In honor of the thread that started it all for me (I created a login to be able to see the pictures in this thread), I thought I would post a picture I just took of my garage(s). Fchat is quite the motivator. I was in grad school when I signed up.

You could have a Yugo next to a F40 and your garage would still look magnificent.

Good to see even great garages with beautiful cars also seem to get piled up "stuff" as time goes on! LOL

The Lusso is technically in the family garage. She got kicked out of my garage when we got the 40, and I'm not putting the 40 under a lift. The three Fcars get driven regularly enough that none of them would sit on a lift much.

    I love your esthetic!

It is such an efficient use of space. And excellent provider of privacy! Having the courtyard allows me to leave the garage doors open on the weekend and not worry about the cars being displayed to the neighborhood. And it also allows me to see the cars from the house

It’s incredible. It was my original dream car. I’ve had it for over 4 years now and I plan to have it forever. It’s the car I would part with last. Be advised…by modern supercar standards it’s slow, like really slow, but it’s a 20 year old car that’s completely analog and brute speed is not its specialty. Here’s the detailed thread I started when I purchased it originally.
