Wow, Bart Mawer has just done a 1:17.862 lap at SMSP during the WTAC meeting. That is seriously quick.

The Gardner circuit is also known as the Grand Prix circuit - it's the original layout and used for all high speed events. It's the only layout where lap times are meaningful. The Brabham circuit adds 5 tight off-camber corners and is hopeless for fast cars. I've only ever seen that section used as part of the split-off South circuit. Image Unavailable, Please Login
