Thank you. It would be nice to have more info on Dino life in Japan. The Azzurro Metallizzato is a beauty.
Lovely run out to the East Sussex countryside today for the Forest Row classic and sports car club Italian car day. Weather was great and 01162 ran faultlessly. Image Unavailable, Please Login

.....if we drove our Dino today? Boy, we did .... and man, what fun we have had! Many thanks Matthias for all the good care, great drives, cosy venues, interesting people and conversations, in short: what fantastic times! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Drove my Dino today to the Ferrari Owners Club national concours at the Iconic Goodwood motor racing circuit. What a fabulous venue for this event. Well over 200 hundred Ferrari attending! Spitfires taking off and landing throughout the day from the airfield next to the circuit. What a sound those Merlin engines make, it makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up!! 01162 made the 150 mile trip with out fuss, running perfectly as always. All in all a great day out.
Drove my Dino to work yesterday in Claremont Ca. Needed a reason to go to work. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I had a wonderful drive this morning too. Fired up the Dino at 6:45 (sorry, neighbours) and cruised through the Greenbelt around the Toronto Zoo. Lots of one lane bridges, corn fields and no traffic. Twisty, bouncy roads - I could rarely go faster than 70 km/h. After almost 2 hours, the car and I were at peace with the world. Dino therapy! Image Unavailable, Please Login

When parked next to a modern Ferrari, the Dino looks so small. I was amazed at how big they are. All that pasta i presume!! Tony
In the photo above, the sculpture, "Black Sun" by Isamu Noguchi, located in Volunteer Park, Seattle, is in the background, as is the Space Needle in the distance. This sculpture has often been believed by fans of the band Soundgarden and its frontman, Chris Cornell, to have been the inspiration for Soundgarden's song, "Black Hole Sun," but according to Chris, it wasn't. But now, especially after Chris's death, the sculpture has become a talisman for the song, the band, and Chris. Interestingly, Soundgarden itself took its name from another large sculpture in Seattle, "A Sound Garden," designed and built by sculptor Douglas Holli. "A Sound Garden" is a large assemblage of multiple towers in the nature of organ pipes that generate tones when the wind is blowing. The sculpture attracts many visitors owing to its location at the NOAA campus immediately north of Magnuson Park overlooking Lake Washington. Because of the sculpture's visual and kinetic qualities, and its being the namesake of the band, it became a makeshift memorial to Soundgarden's Chris Cornell following his death in 2017, as did Black Sun in Volunteer Park.
