Can someone please tell me the name of this colour and the paint code? The official USA market brochure features a car in the same colour yet I have never seen one outside the brochure or an episode of Magnum P.I. This 308 appeared in an episode of Magnum P.I. where IIRC it was involved in a scene where it was chased by a couple of hoods in a Pontiac Transam ( sorry I dont recall the episode name, but it wasn't driven by Tom Selleck IIRC?) If anyone has pics please post. I know there are a few Magnum experts here so TIA. Grim Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dark photo but maybe Grigio 700/C - relatively common color & some would say the best ! Quite a few Grigio 308 picture threads already
Looks like it has a bit of green in it rather than just plain grey. At first I thought it was a colour cast in the images but the skin tones seem unaffected and so does the silver on the wheels. A green colour cast would also neutralize the red slightly and the white wall would show the hue as well. Keen to know more!
It is definetly NOT Grigio. In the USA Factory brochure which is ALL in colur it looks like a seaweed green! As I said earlier I've only ever seen it in the brochure and an episode of Magnum. Here is the factory brochure (not the best shot) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you Marc, very helpful. So the colour is definetly green, but what name and code? Definetly NOT Pino Verdi which is a much brighter metallic green
Five greens were available from "Glasurit" for the 308QV, but t would be difficult to say which one it is, especially as some of these colors were very rare: Verde Medio ( FER600/C), Verde Pino (FER601/C), Verde Chiaro (FER602/C), Verde Scuro (FER603/C), Verde Tenue (FER604/C). Although it doesn't look like FER603/C to me... Rgds
Looks like Verde Pino... at least according to this auction? https://aussieexotics.com/forum/ferrari-for-sale/ferrari-308-gtsi-verde-pino-pine-green-2669.0.html
Thank you Nerofer, Ding ding, we have a winner! The colour is Verde Chiaro (FER 602/C). Now, does anyone have pics of a 308 qv in this colour in USA or elsewhere? Thanks Grim
Wasn’t there someone on here who had a 2valve f.i. 308 in the same green. Think he was from the Philly area possibly named Barry?
