F8 Ferrari 2 year extended warranty

In the NJ dealership, they will charge 10K for 2 years plus 1k for the inspection. This is what I've paid in the past but keep in mind there are not many cars being sold so they're relying on the service folks for profit so be prepared for >11K

 

Must one buy the warranty extension from the dealership where the car was purchased? Is there any prohibition against shopping around? For example, the Florida rates are regulated.

 

Dealer will need to see/inspect the car before providing the extended warranty. So if the car was in Florida you could take it to a Florida dealer and get the extended warranty.

 

My Pista was 21k for three year extension at FLaud Ferrari. This included the inspection.

 

I paid 10,800 plus tax for bumper to bumper extension. No inspection fee with Ferrari Tampa Bay.
FWIW, I did the same on my Portofino.

 

The power warranties require an inspection as the car would not still be under the original 3 year warranty. I have purchased warranty extensions on bmw's, mercedes, jeeps from out of state dealers at substantial discounts as the cars were will still under the original warranty. You should call around and see if anyone will discount it. I would not understand why an inspection would be needed for the 2 year bumper to bumper warranty extension. Just my thoughts.

So see invoice below: I extended first year 8600k (1079 dollars for inspection) then before first year expired extended by two years for 13300k(1659 for inspection); here in the US you can get 1 to 3 year extension upon Ferrari approval (full factory warranty).

$11,900 is MSRP on 2 year warranty extension for a V8
There is a one page checklist that has to be performed, though not as extensive as a Power15 checklist.
If you were having the annual services performed at the same time, I could not see charging for the 1 pager

You may purchase the warranty extension from whichever Dealership you want, however the car has to be there in person, as we have to scan the car in and out as part of the process.

Ferrari of Silicon Valley didn't charge for the inspection. My 2 year extension, which I got just before the price hike this past May or June I believe, was $10,800.

 

The way I took it was that you extended it in one time 3 years.

Actually you can get 1 - 4 years extension. I have as im on my 4th year on a 2018 488 GTB
