Thanks. Me neither until I scrolled past a post of it on the gram last week. It really is cool, and fun, and happy, and creative, and it just makes me and people smile … all that for $200.
Very nice. I’ve been looking for a C-shape Constellation day/date…looked long and hard for the best available, but no luck so far. Any of you vintage watch connoisseurs have suggestions ?
Today’s watch is made in Waltham, MA in 1931. Although I haven’t dialed it in. It’s within a few seconds a day. A neat feature is it tells you how far from a full wind you are (wind indicator - similar to a power reserve but with a slightly different use). A nice old American railroad watch originally owned by a WWI veteran. Regards, Art S. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Have you checked Omega Forum? There is a subgroup for constellations. Also, Jim Reynolds, the owner of Father Time Antiques in Chicago, usually has one or can get one. His watchmakers are amazing. I have used him to do rebuilds on a V.72 LeJour, a pinion Zodiac, 30s Hamilton etc. Great work, but not cheap. He doesn’t have a C-Constellation listed at the moment, but it doesn’t hurt to contact him. https://www.fathertimeantiques.com/browse.php?page=items#filter_block

Switched from the orange to the blue strap. Not sure which one I like better. Thoughts? Image Unavailable, Please Login
