It looks like the market for the FF and Lusso (both V12 and V8) has softened drastically over the past several months. The best offer I've received on my Lusso T is $150k. Do you think this is a dip or is it just a sign of more drastic depreciation? Are prices correct? Interested in your take.

I haven't really looked at prices other than to see the BAT listings that members have posted here, and a quick look online. Looking at those it certainly does seem like the market has softened. I bought my 2015 FF in late 2019 and in the pandemic I could have sold it for more than I paid for it, but certainly not today (no matter it is not for sale).

My educated (ha!) guess is prices are likely to soften since there is some uncertainty in the stock and job markets, and some whispers of recession which can make people cautious on large purchases. On the plus side, the Fed will probably cut interest rates in September (if not sooner) by 50 bp, and may cut once or twice more before the end of the year.

So to answer your questions, I dunno.

we are back to precovid prices for FF (close to full depreciation) and lusso will go down further as it never hit its natural depreciation bottom due to covid.

Everything's softening, some deals to be had in the next year I'd bet.

Based on that video, you're better off buying another one every few years, otherwise the cost of replacing everything he mentions is probably equal or more than the car lol.

Mechanics always see all the bad things on cars. 10 year old cars are always going to have some issues. Besides for the PTU, I imagine he’d say the same thing about a 458, F12 or any other Ferrari of a similar vintage.

He did mention the Lusso, 812 and F12 all have the same issues because they use so many of the same components.

How long can you renew the warranty for? I have a 2018 Lusso, I want to keep it under warranty as long as possible, although it's pretty expensive, I thought I could only extend the warranty another 2 years after the CPO warranty runs out?

That is the bumper to bumper. Main components is part of the NewPower15….. 15 years…..you can start that on year 4 or after the extended coverage ends

good lord, thats what I paid about $7-8k for, which was the inspection + warranty. I feel like at that price for 15years, I'm better off just setting the cash aside.
