do any of you have this app? is it activated within the myferrrai app at delivery?
Also problematic during the Italian vacay and Ferrari factory shutdown for August. My 296 was delivered last week of July and I have nothing on my app.
Depends what territory you are in. Ferrari is slowing rolling these out across the world as standard kit. My 2022 (late) GTB did not come with it, my 2023 (late) GTS did. There is another posting, that I could not find, which mentions Europe, then UK, then...
got it. looks like another absurd ferrari foible. 400k car with no remote access by app that a 20k kia has. and the ferrari key doesn't even allow for a keychain.
The connect feature didn't show up in the app at first. However 8 months after the purchase it just randomly appeared, perhaps with the app updated? No dealer activation was required for mine to show.
You can fit a key chain. You should have received a small red box from your dealer when you got the car. It contains a small screwdriver that allows you to remove the key and also two keyring attachments that fit into the key alowing you to fit one to each of the two keys that come with the car. thank you both. i get the car tuesday but he had given me the manual and a bunch of other things earlier at my request so i could review. he has no aidea about the app.
The app I find very useful particularly in telling me the status of the hybrid battery and the low voltage battery. It also logs all journeys inc speed, distances etc. They have been rolling it out selectively in territories since 2023. Aside from European countries UK was one of the first. Has to actually been rolled out in the US / North America yet? I got an email directly from Ferrari when it was activated
Ok so I got mine delivered today, 2024, I have the myferrari hw and the feature activated per the plaque in the frunk but I still don't see my car the the Ferrari app. I see you can add a car but when I try to upload the registration picture, I get an error message. Did anyone get their car added by the dealer on the back end?
Never worked on my 2023 GTB in the US despite being HW ready, arguably I didn't really look into it much. With the newly delivered GTS, I have asked the dealer to activate it but as per above, Modis (Ferrari dealer/CRM system) is down for another couple of weeks for update/upgrade, guess it goes on holidays at the same time than the factory so car has disappeared from my app until system goes back online. Ferrari website lists USA as being live for the connect feature so it *should* be working eventually
It showed up in my app under my car listing and I tapped to activate it. US market. Didn’t notice or try it until a couple of months after delivery so no idea on dealer activating or not. It did take a while for my car in app to go from waiting list or pending, whatever the pre-delivery state is. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I had a problem with my app not connecting to the car. According to the dealer the car failed to connect correctly initially and basically gave up. I had to return it to the dealer to get it activated. It could not be done remotely.
Apparently they cannot add my car until Modis is back online. That is what someone said on this forum. Bummer!!
Once you get Ferrari Connect working don't get discouraged if the app occasionally acts as if your car is not listed and you have to contact support. I noticed when their system is down it logs you in ok but won't pull up the information. I suspect it is a schedule maintenance interval in the middle of the night type of thing.
Guys, I have a Roma Spider and with the Ferrari App, you can pair the battery smart charger (SC) to it. The benefit is receiving battery data on the app from the SC in addition to the app's own battery readings. I was successful pairing the SC to the app using the code from the bottom of the unit as the app recognized the SC's serial number and my home Wi-Fi, but it still appears as if it's not connected to it. Has anyone been successful obtaining the SC readings on the app?
It works for my 296 GTS. Does MyFerrari Connect GPS tracking offer any value against theft? Or do you have additional tracker/anti theft for your 296?
My 296GTB was optioned with this connect feature, but it does not work. Numerous trips to dealer, numerous phone calls to Ferrari in NJ. Numerous emails to Ferrari NA and Ferrari Italy. Lots of people working on it but no progress. Worked on this for many hours last week. Will start again on Monday. Cautiously optimistic. Thanks to those who are working the problem. Hopefully someone in Maranello can help!
