    Agree.
Plus if you are spending close to 500k jump into SF90s. SF90s in 400-500k is a GOOD buy.

Agree. I’m a lambo fan and can’t find love for the Rev. performance is also meh in todays age.

For me, the only thing I like about the Revuelto over the SF90 is the sound. Way too heavy, and looks like every other Lambo. I’m not what you would call a “fan”. I am curious about the Temerario, though. Maybe it ends up being a more interesting car to me.

I might buy an Aventador SV. I have an aventador at my house rn for a couple months (a buddy’s) and I miss how much of an occasion the car is. But revuelto at $700k+, no.

Agree on SV or SVJ Roadsters. Both are the top of the sub $1M food chain.

It is quite expensive (overpriced imo) but it performs ~as well and sounds better than any Ferrari production car (admittedly have not heard the F 12 Cylwutfukeveritscalled). Other than looking like a ‘vette from the side, I am curious as to why you would put it in the “meh” camp. No opinion from me on driving since I have not … but I bet it’s not meh to drive, either.

I do completely understand why buying the Rev at msrp may be a mental hurdle versus a sf90 for $300k less. Sure would be for me, even though that’s comparing used to new.

To be fair, it doesn’t look like every other Lambo … since they are only currently making the Rev and an SUV (I do see your point). we don’t know enough about the line-up being developed to know if it looks “too” similar to the others.

Looks are not as stunning as the prior model, IMO.

The 12C appears to be quite severely muzzled by EU noise regulations based on the video footage that I've seen and the explanations that I've read. Unclear if US-bound vehicles will sound different. Regardless, I'm sure the aftermarket will step in to oblige owners who would like more volume.

It’s so interesting how certain things are important to some people, but not to others. Both of those cars are far too slow to be top of any food chain for me. They sound great, but to me that’s all they have going for them.

That’s what 911’s and mclarens and 488’s+ are for. Speed w/drama. And subdued looks I suppose.

Agreed. And SVJs and SVs are for flash and attention without real performance. Different strokes.

Or Mortefontaine, where the SVJ comes in 11th to the SF90’s 1st place and the 296’s 2nd place. It’s simply too slow for me to be interested in it, especially anywhere above $350k. It’s a poser car in my opinion.

At its debut it was the holder. Let’s not play history has no passage of time game. Hard to find credible car lovers who found it a “poser” but carry on!

You mentioned it was currently at the top of the food chain for a sub $1M car. I’m simply saying that it ‘maybe’ once was near the top, but today I wouldn’t even consider it anywhere on my food chain. To me, all it is today is a loud, severely overpriced, cartoonish looking car that doesn’t perform well compared to other offerings, hence why I see it as a poser car. That obviously doesn’t mean that all SVJ owners are posers. Not at all. Lots of Lambo bros love the thing, and I have no issues with that. That’s 100% their choice.

Fair enough, to each their own. Good to have choices for what each desires. (I wouldn’t pay $400k for an “at the top” SPF90, but I also am not buying into SVJ’s at their inflated prices either.)

Haha, I’m not going there. I don’t hate Lambo. I really enjoyed my TT Huracan. I think I’m just getting too old to appreciate their traits.

So my 296gts is sitting at the dealer but I can’t have the car because the dealer portal is going through an “overhaul” … whatever that means and they don’t know how much to invoice. Also with it being August I’m not holding my breath so that’s rather annoying.

I think for making a statement, it’s pretty much top of the food chain. People go crazy for them. Driving, probably not.

Oh man, why did I bother to scroll up.... what a serious waste of time. And no, that was not bait for anyone reading this to try to scroll up and read. No valuable information in the past weeks/months on this thread.
