I wish we had info on a independent source to fix the DCT issue, we have Hollywood Mechanic, and Martin Parks for the PTU both solid choices, I know Hollywood can deal with the DCT but needs the whole car, Surely a good independent can work. But I understand they don’t have access to the software to reset the values.
I bought my 2015 FF in November, 2019. At the time my local dealer quoted $8700 for the warranty plus $400 for inspection (he said he discounted the inspection). If I had taken it each year I would have already spent $43,900 (not sure if I had to pay the inspection fee each year). So far the only failure was an oil line to the PTU. The cost of repair was $2000 and the dealer told me it would not have been covered under the warranty. So I'm ahead of the game. As an aside, at the time Steve (SAFE4NOW) priced it at something like $6000 (not sure but it was a deal based on my local dealer's price). The probem was I'd have to drive or ship it all the way to Texas.
Warranty prices vary greatly between dealers for some reason. This year I paid $941 for the inspection and enrollment (2017 Lusso). The cost of the warranty was $4551 after discounts for consecutive years and no claims…..I believe the price has gone up but the dealer has honored the cost when I first started enrolling…..total of around $5500…..I also had the rear axle click repair for $600 or so….. Transport costs me $1400 round trip. Insurance costs me $2K. This was my last year of free maint. I’m figuring each year will cost me around $10K if all goes well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So $4551 was the cost of warranty for 2 years? That's an amazing price. Isn't it usually around $10k for 2 years? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Wow, that's the same dealer that quoted me $8700 almost 5 years ago. I guess they have really lowered the price. I think the inspection was $1000 and he discounted it to $400. Considering my car is now 9 years old, it might be worth it at that price.
The market is definitely softer than it was 6 months ago. I’ve only had a Ferrari since early 2021 so I don’t have as many data/experience as others here, but fall always seems to be softer, though less soft for 4 season Ferraris. My business is overweight new construction supply and home products, so I’ve been in “recession” since 2022. There are pockets of growth despite the overall slowdown, but cars in this price range and houses are interest rate sensitive and there’s no getting around that. Interest rates might not matter to one person, but they matter to somebody. If you told me in 6 months that the economy is materially better or materially worse, I would believe you. My instinct is that fed cuts will mirror the 2018-2019 date range when you had the end to a soft pullback and a strengthening into 2020 (after which data become skewed for obvious reasons).
$4550 was for one year of Power15. Around the same as $10K for 2 years. The $8700 price may have been for the bumper to bumper extension. Which can be done in year 4 and 5 of the car. Two totally different products. And the inspection process doubled to $900 or so from 2022 to 2023 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
100% agree , I’m still in shock that Micah published that video considering he has clients who will be putting there cars on the market because of the present economic issues. The only issue he missed was "it’s ugly "
PITA? Sometimes. Ugly? Not to me. I’ve loved the design since day one. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That one was listed at $128K just a bit back. Nice spec but a repo on the history will hurt it for sure. Image Unavailable, Please Login
my thoughts exactly. Was about to response similarly. I was beginning to think Ferrari forced shields on everyone. Looking at blacking mine out as well as the yellow calipers...the more stealth, the better for me.
No shields on a non red car with silver wheel caps makes it very easy to stay below the radar. Image Unavailable, Please Login

which wheels are those @ttforcefed? the recent BaT FF had them and I hadn't seen them before but they look good.. great looking car, very stealth from the side but I assume you still have the cavallinos on the front grille and hatch?
back on the Nissan site for $120k, pretty sure it's not rosso corsa https://www.performancenissan.com/used-Pompano+Beach-2012-Ferrari-FF-+-ZFF73SKA6C0186589
