Can anyone tell me the proper way to gain access to the gauges and dash switches? Didn't find anything doing a search. Need to test my fog lamp switch, fuel gauge, and change some gauge lights. Looked like they "might" pry out from the front, but not in the mood to screw something up today, already have twenty items in the works.
    Thanks!

on the older Mondials, the plastic finisher of the speedo and rpm can be pulled straight towards you, they are only held on with 4 friction pins.
Use an credit card to start lifting them off the glass.
Behind you find 4 long screws that hold the instrument in place. Remove the instrument next to the switch only.
The switches are held in a subframe that is stuck behind the instrument next to it and a rib in the cluster casing.
You cannot take the switch off from the front. You need to press 2 side clips simultaneously and shift it forward out of the frame.
From the front, you'll only get the switch face off and there is a risk of loosing the contact spring when you do that, so be careful pulling from the front.

Anyone know where the instrument panel ground on a Mondial 8 is located? And how to get at it?

Is that also true for the 3.2? I need access to the info-screen/warning lights between the speedo and the rev counter as the bulb for the dipped beam control lamp seems to have blown.

Along this line of thinking. The odometer on my 83 QV has stopped working. Is the same dash removal necessary to get to the odometer? I know this could be a plus but it would be nice to have it working again. Thanks
