You must want to go out of your way to offend all of the people who have had their lives ended or severely impacted by the malfunctioning of this control function. We can only assume that you have never driven any car produced by Ferrari and know no-one who owns any of the models in question....and/or that you are below the legal driving age and have actually never driven any car. Anyone with any empathy and with any understanding of automotive engineering would grasp that there is a real and meaningful problem and your weird denial of it merely makes you look utterly foolish and a very cold individual.

 

I had given up looking at 458's for my next purchase and have been concentrating on 488's. They also have this systemic brake failure issue??? :-(

 

I recently went with an FF (plus the v12 is glorious). I also steered away from a 458 back in 2018 when shopping. Too much risk.

Having owned a 458 for years, I too find the brakes to be inconsistent and not confidence inspiring. Have had the car checked at the dealer and they claimed no issues whatsoever. I’m not sure why people choose to ignore it.
