" Now, I'd like to take a minute to let you know about the Christmas Party! I'm announcing early that this year's event will be held at the Adolphus hotel in downtown Dallas! This was probably our favorite venue thus far and we just had to find a solution to the parking and we have! We also decided to go with totally different music for the evening, many of you probably know or have heard of Goga over the years and he is very popular and always booked, but this year I reached out to him on New Years Day and locked him in! A little change is fun

Last year's VIP overnight package sold out in 30 minutes so we're going to do our best to bring you an even better option this year with more space. Stay tuned for 2 day and 3 day packages, because if you haven't already noticed the last F1 race of the season is that Sunday, and we'd love to watch it with you while we brunch at the Adolphus! "

If you or your companies are interested in donating to the silent auction or sponsorship, please let me know ASAP! We will have several "print" items this year with sponsor logos that need to be ordered well in advance so the sponsorship cutoff will be coming soon! Once I'm able to secure all of our generous sponsors then I can price everything and give more details. But for now let me tell you, we will have several options for the VIP package this year. Last year we sold out of the VIP package within an hour of the email going out so this time we have added more spots and more options. For planning purposes: The Christmas Party is on Saturday, December 7th at the Adolphus Hotel. That morning is the downtown Christmas parade and that Sunday is the last F1 race of the season so we figured let's make a whole weekend out of it!


First package will include:

• one hotel room Friday and Saturday night (12-6-12/8)
• Parade watching party from the event Terrace at the hotel with a light breakfast
• 2 gala tickets for Saturday night
• Brunch for the F1 watch party on Sunday

Second package will include 12/7-12/8)

• one hotel room Saturday night
• 2 gala tickets for Saturday night
• Brunch for the F1 watch party on Sunday

Gala Tickets will absolutely still be available just by themselves, but please note access to the parade party and the F1 brunch will only be available to those who purchase the packages! More to come as soon as possible!

 

Update from our DFW Chapter president today:

ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!! - Christmas party tickets website will launch next week! I will share the link in next week's email. For those who want to sign up for the VIP packages please set your alerts now! I will not be late with the email next week and so when I send it out Tuesday at 10:00AM, it is first come first serve until they sell out! We will have several options for the VIP package this year. Last year we sold out of the VIP package within an hour of the email going out so this time we have added more spots and more options. For planning purposes: The Christmas Party is on Saturday, December 7th at the Adolphus Hotel. Gala tickets will be on sale by themselves and we will have a room block for those who do not purchase a package. Access to the breakfast parade party and the Sunday brunch watch party will be limited to the VIP packages for now, if that changes we will let you know. For those who are concerned with parking that evening based on our event 2 years ago, rest assured that these issues have been corrected and we are not anticipating any issues at all this time!

While you are certainly welcome to bring your Ferrari, 99% of the attendees are not.
The Adolphus does not have " out front " parking and is located in downtown Dallas, add in the Christmas Parade will be passing directly in front of the hotel, I'm not sure its the place or time for a Ferrari.

However, December the 14th is the FCA DFW Annual Toy Drive, THAT would be a much better opportunity to bring the Ferrari out, for a good cause, for photos, and fun drive, all wrapped into one!

We are looking forward to seeing you and another 179+ members this weekend!

Last night was nice, private “ igloo “ and heater We’re set up for the group 20+ members hung out inside, then we had a fire pit outside for another 6 to 8

Hot chocolate, Adult drinks, Champagne, And heavy hors d’oeuvres were served all night….

…:.then this morning we had a private balcony to watch the Dallas Christmas parade!

From our President:

What a time was had this past weekend! To those of you who joined us for the Christmas Gala, thank you for coming and spending some time with us at the Adolphus. Friday night we had a group of around 45-50 people who joined us for the Happy Hour at Winter Village on the rooftop. Champagne, Fancy Hot Chocolates, Christmas lights and little cabins made it so festive and fun! The rain made it a little too cramped in our cabin so we moved the party up to the penthouse suite and enjoyed room service! Saturday morning came a bit early but we put on our coats and earmuffs and enjoyed the Christmas Parade from the Terrace on the 8th floor. When it got too chilly we were able to come in and enjoy the breakfast spread and watch the parade on tv inside and then jump back out on the terrace again! Then many went off on a historic tour of the Adolphus Hotel. Built in 1912 on the site which once was the home of Dallas City Hall, Adolphus Busch of Anheuser Busch built this hotel which to this day remains one of the most elegant hotels in Dallas and is Dallas oldest operating hotel! Meanwhile a large group of amazing volunteers joined me to get the tables set up and get the 130 auction items set up and laid out. Thank you to everyone who came to help, we even had to rotate shifts being security guards through the afternoon so that none of our items ran off! Shawn and Brandi, Matt and Dana, Jhanifor and Eric, Edgar and JR and all my ladies from FLF worked hard and hustled to put it all together for everyone on time! Saturday night was a whirlwind for me but I believe everyone enjoyed the event. Our talent, Goga, made it spectacular. His vocals are truly amazing. We danced the night away! Sunday morning we were back at it on the 19th floor this time in the Governors Ballroom where about 85 of us enjoyed Brunch and a 2 podium F1 watch party! With late checkouts, we were able to enjoy each others company and relive the memories from the night before. I truly appreciate all of you so much for joining us, supporting us, and making this the best Chapter in the FCA. I can't wait until next year!!!!
