My 2006 430 spider has a CEL illuminated. I scanned it using the PLX Kiwi 2 and it reads code P1552. However, I can't find any such code listed anywhere for Ferrari. There is thread about this code in a Masserati forum and 2 possible faults, 1) camshaft position sensor and 2) barometric pressure sensor.

The car runs and shifts perfectly. I cleared the code, tried an ECU reset (disconnect power under bonnet and follow reset procedure) but the code comes back on. I have an appointment at the dealer next week but was wondering if anyone had any ideas or information about this code. Thanks in advance!

So my idle on my 99 355 was hunting from time to time, so I got a replacement part on ebay, supposedly made in the Fatherland. I installed it, the idle was steady, but after a month in very hot traffic the car started to buck and jerk on part throttle. This, of course, is a sign of an air leak. I got a P1552 code, and thanks to big_guy above, I Iooked at the new idle air controller. I replaced it with the original Bosch part, and voila, problem solved. Apparently the ****ty replacement part was open all the way, all the time, imitating an air leak. This is the second "German," non-Bosch replacement part that has failed on me right away. Thanks for the help.
