You and others on here so-called motor racing people -should take the time and read some of the motorsport achievements Rolls-Royce did with the Silver Ghost model
The older models are fantastic long-lasting durable cars, with the Silver Ghost the pinnacle of the models, a different car to a 911 of course.
You realise the world's gone mad when a current model Discovery absolutely dwarfs a Silver Shadow. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Defenders have become the must-have accessory for yummy-mummies in my area. Range Rovers and Tesla's are so passe. For the life of me I don't understand how anyone with an IQ above room temperature would by a Land Rover product...
Well up here, and I daresay in many other parts of rural, regional and outback areas, you're nuts if you buy anything from The US,Europe or China. I have just received one of my trucks back from a local furniture retailer here. He made the wrong choice in buying an LDV van. In the eight months he's owned it it's been off the road more than on. He's had my truck for a total of a month at a reduced rate 'coz he's a nice bloke ,as I am,. He wants LDV to give him his dosh back and keep the van,not fit for purpose will be his arguement when it breaks down next time. Landrovers aren't the only brand of 4wd that have issues.Jeeps,Rams,200 series 'Cruisers and many more have sooo much electronic junk that renders them incapable of moving sometimes.
Park it next to a Phantom or Cullinan and you will discover that the Shadow is a positively compact car!
Great photo, iff you did see one in the 70’s 80’s , the roller was always the biggest car in the traffic [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

'Hydraulics function but disconnected, may require attention' is the bit that will knee cap you on this resto..
Gawd. Even I wouldn't take that on. $450,000 away from being a $150,000 car. Totally amazing car, however when you have the hydraulics operating everything from the boot to the sunroof, you'd better have an understanding partner. Or preferably, none at all.
