This thread, which started as production informational, has evolved into a 1995 North American F355 Berlinetta Registry replete with detailed technical information.

Thank-you Ken and Matthias for your your endeavors.

I still need to gather data on all N/A single pump 95-96 challenge cars. With that number, I can subtract from the total single pump 95 cars and we should be able to get a pretty good idea of total standard 95 Berlinettas originally destined for U.S/North American market.

Hopefully, @phrogs can then provide a list of written off cars, so we can see what we’re working with here :).

    Just to recap:

*I found 1 more dual pump CDN Berlinetta for a total of 24. Total U.S dual pump Berlinettas (minus 10 dual pump challenge cars) is 199.

This leaves roughly 137 (336 cars - 199) single pump 95 N/A Berlinettas (including challenge cars) built between June-Dec 1995. Just need to figure how many of those are 95-96 challenge cars & CDN cars.

Ultimately, I guestimate we’ll arrive at roughly 250-300 1995 U.S Berlinettas. For comparison, there are roughly 375 U.S Challenge Stradales ;)

It's an old thread but Rich from the UK compiled a list off VIN numbers for F355 Challenge cars. It was incomplete as of January 2015: F355 Challenge VIN List

Maybe there's some information in that thread you can use, Ken.

Hello guys. I am the lucky new owner of a F355 GTS, Rosso Corsa/Nero, June 1995, VIN ZFFPR42B000102299, in the process of being licensed in Switzerland (previously a German car). Do we know how many GTS 2.7 were made overall?

That's easy to read from the VIN (4th digit stands for the engine) P stands for the 2.7, X stands for the 5.2

    P stands for the 2.7 = 980
    X stands for the 5.2 = 1,608

from the world's most unique and famous Serial Number database :p
