My 1980 2Vi crank pulley has 2 grooves:

Here's another picture of my Nick's Forza water pump. Note that the water pump pulley (not yet installed as shown in this picture) is held to the water pump via 4 bolts, which is quite different than OEM. So little surprise that the OEM belts won't fit Nick's different sized pulley:

Hope this helps the OP - DM

Pretty sure the fact that the Nick Forza water-pump installation apparently involves deleting the original water-pump tensioner pulley, and re-routing the water-pump drive belt to also drive the alternator, has even more to do with the original factory belt not fitting than just the size of the replacement pulley.

    Huh?
The factory has many variations of the drive setup. And the 2V had WP & Alt on the same belt.
All Nick's pump does is change the dia to slow it down to prevent cavitation. The scroll impellor doesn't need Mach Jesus to pump coolant efficiently. Just needs a longer belt to accommodate, that's it.

[emoji23] I think you guys should make replacement lenses for the “SLOW DOWN” indicators to replace with “Mach Jesus”. [emoji23][emoji23]

It makes me wonder what other engine mods Nick Forza may have done to your engine.
Did the previous owner disclose any details?

Yes. That looks like my FORZA pump made by Nick. It’s a great pump, the impeller design actually moves the coolant a lot more efficiently. He gives a great warranty with it as well.
I lowered my water temps drastically using that pump along with the aluminum radiator he sold me. Contact him about the belt.

Does Forza sell the correct pulley for OEM sized?
If his pump is a good one, then change the pulley rather than simply a belt?
