Exactly right. Dominick Maestro sold Maestros for like 150 million or so. As soon as non compete expired he opened Dominick’s and then Steak 44 and Ocean 44 in Scottsdale. Nationwide it’s Steak 48. My go to for steaks. As an aside/. We have way too many steak houses in Scottsdale!!
Ha! I owe you a big picture dump. I’ll do it Sunday when I’m back at the house. inside is 95% complete. Just a few finishing touches. The trenching for utilities is taking longer than expected as they are hitting hard rock. 1/2 the driveway is done- hoping to have it all done by end of July. inside all flooring, bathrooms cabinets all done. what’s left- final cost of paint- main kitchen backsplash (wife needs to make a final decision) Fee of the walls have finishes that need to be installed. all this can be done in less than 2 weeks but they are taking their time as it’s difficult to get to the house to actually work due to driveway issue. all in all- hoping 4 weeks or so give or take to move in. Ty @Thecadster - I’ll keep things bette updated. Just have been slammed with my new job.

No one ever said building a house would be quick or easy. We are still weeks from moving I . As the crew was running utilities down the driveway - they have experienced nothing but problem after problem. Essentially having to dig a 6 foot trench for water, sewer, gas, electric through solid granite. And since the driveway has been inaccessible- work in the house has slowed to a crawl. I should have the driveway back in 10 days as they are done digging and will be doing pavers and asphalt. I was really hoping to move in by now but the construction gods have had other plans. I stopped asking for a timeline and am just enjoying life away from the home and have stopped thinking about it. The move will happen in the near future. Frustrating but it is what it is. It’s the next 20 plus years of my life. Few weeks/months of delay isn’t going to kill anything.
City comes to hook up the water September 17th. Hoping all the stuff is complete by then and ready for move in later in the month. Driveway goes in next friday. We are doing asphalt at the bottom and pavers at top. Asphalt will be replaced with pavers once neighbor completes construction on his home as we share a driveway. one step closer.... How about a night time view of what you see toward the horizon down below? Must be a commanding view from up there; with the house already looking amazing!

Which direction is this view oriented: east or? That view is stunning, it would be fun to watch a storm come through across the valley! Night time is the right time if you can grab that picture...thanks for the pictures.
Absolutely stunning. Can't wait to see final pictures with full interior as the space is absolutely huge.
And we have a driveway…..the asphalt will get ripped up in a few years when the neighbors house is finished. We will run pavers all the way down: Image Unavailable, Please Login
