360 360 Headers

    Finally ready to tackle the headers before the oem blow up. Anyone use the Tubi style headers? Could possibly continue to use stock cats so hopefully no need for retune cel issues? I like that they already have head shields in them.

    Or should I just stick with fab speed headers cats with the heat blankets

    Did search found threads in 355’s on this not 360

    I have a 2000 360 manual conversion with a tune and stick headers cats with s-line exhaust

    I have Tubi headers on my 2004 360 - - they're the US version with air runners and O2 sensor bungs. I got an occasional CEL at first but haven't seen once since I installed O2 simulators from Big Daddy's Garage. My setup is Tubi manifolds > OEM cats > Tubi exhaust. Sound is great and I have been very pleased so far. Not sure how they would match with your existing tune as mine is still on the stock tune.

    FYI I don't believe the 360 headers (manifolds) are as prone to cracking as 355s or 430s - - you might just keep an eye on them and replace only when clearly necessary.

    I have the Tubi US headers along with high flow cats and Tubi exhaust. No CELs due to this setup. Very happy with it all. Sound is terrific.

    Thx! Exactly what I was looking for. I am replacing valve cover gaskets so while I have top end off figure why not do the heat exchanger snd headers pre-problems. Lol

    FWIW, I installed Fabspeed headers after they were jet-coated. I have kept the stock cats since I had a 1999. There is no secondary air system, and they function like sport cats. I also have the S-line X-pipe with the new valved exhaust tips. 360Trev and Sam tuned the car. It pulls like a freight train and sounds amazing, and with the valve controller, I have substantial flexibility on sound. I am pleased with this setup.

    I went with '99 360 headers for the 4-2-1 layout and factory heat shield with insulation.

    I am new on here and looking for a tune to go with some fabspeed headers. Seems like 360trev is the one who does this well. How do I contact him?

    I went with Tubi headers as well and could not be happier. I like that they are 4-2-1 and I really like their heat shield. Not only does it look like OEM+, but it also seems to work as good as the OEM heatshield as well. That was important to me. mine do not have air rails. The only think I wish, is that they were inconel, but whatever.
