I'm stuck getting this blinker control board out. Have removed the air bag, unplugged all the connectors to the bad NVO board but there is no screws or tabs that I can see to slide the board back and up to change it out. When looking at the replacement NVO board I don't see anything obvious where a tab or screw would go. The only thing I can think of is the bottom carbon face plate where the manettino switch is needs to come off but does that just clip in ? Don't want to break the carbon trying.
I can’t figure out how to remove the lower carbon face plate to get to the tabs Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

Just watched Sticky RX vid and if you pull the carbon lower face plate you tear the foam holding the piece in place. What I can't figure out is do I need to do that or is there a way to get the plastic inside piece out that is covering the NVO board and the tabs to remove it.
Just fyi if anyone finds this later and is trying this for themselves I took a piece of flat metal about 3 to 4 inches wide around 6 inches long and placed the wheel upside down and placed the piece of metal on the edge of the aluminum towards the bottom of the wheel and took a screwdriver and hammer and after a few blows the piece separated and I was able to get the top out as well. It did tear the foam but when I put it back together I used spray adhesive and it went back together easily. The process is pretty easy other than getting the bottom carbon face off. It’s all back in and everything works again. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Why did you replace the NVO board in the first place? Turn signals quit working? Also, do you have LEDs on the steering wheel? If so, do they work now?
Blinkers stopped working and there are only two different NVO boards you can buy early build numbers up to around 2013 years and after for the second one. The shift lights don’t work but I expected that from what I researched so off to the Ferrari dealer for proxy file and brake recall Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

TUTTSF Didn’t you inspect the original board as probably could’ve just been a small solder on the board that could’ve been broke? Someone who know what there doing can normally fix it? Just curious that’s all Glad is sorted either way
If it's possible to repair these NVO boards that could be very lucrative for someone because it's probably a couple grand to have replaced at the dealer with the proxy file programming and so on. If someone could do the repair for several hundred dollars it would a good little niche business.
I had issues with mine and my mate who’s a good sparky took it out inspected and was a few little solders that where broke He managed to sort it for me From what I remember indicators would intermittently work
After you replace the nvo board were you able to start the car and drive it to the dealership for the proxy file update or did you have to haul it to the dealer?
Car will start. The proxy file is to make the LEDs work (unless you go the alternate route, referenced in this thread: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/nvo-board-replacement-dealer-alternative.686385/) https://youtube.com/shorts/ZZwT1rlK9A8?si=Le9Nc2Es2IxQ4WyA
Guys can someone please confirm or deny that if I buy the NVO board from the AD and fit it myself; the shift light will not work unless it’s programmed by the AD. Thanks in advance I just wanna make sure I got it right.
Correct. Let the alternative dealer know that you have shift lights and the part will come pre-configured with the file. See my post #5: NVO board replacement; dealer alternative https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/index.php?threads/NVO-board-replacement%3B-dealer-alternative.686385/
Thank you unfortunately I got it through the AD with my vin. So I think I might have to let them install it or ask if they’ll program it if I install it.
Mine died last year, labor at the Dealer was not bad: TECHNICIAN STATES TURN SIGNAL NOT OPERATING, TURN SIGNAL ELECTRONIC BOARD NEEDED. CONFIRM LIGHTS ON STEERING WHEEL WORK AFTER* CUSTOMER STATES PLEASE REPLACE TURN SIGNAL ELECTRONIC BOARD REPLACED TURN SIGNAL NVO MODULE. TURN SIGNALS & STEERING WHEEL LIGHTS WORKING PROPERLY SCANNED OUT LABOR $777.00 PARTS $ 1,096.37 TOTAL $1,873.37
Even with the actual Ferrari part, the dealer needs to get the proxy code in order for the shift lights to work. When I replaced mine, I had the genuine part replaced by the dealer and they still needed the proxy code (Unless something has recently changed, but I don't think it has).
Will your AD let you return the nvo board so you can buy it from Super Auto Parts/alternative dealer option as posted above? Part worked great for me and my leds were programmed to work. Only issue I had was the foam ripped when removing the carbon aluminum button panel to get at the board. But that can be glued back in place.
