Ventilated Seats -- Any good?

    My experience with ventilated seats on several cars I have owned has varied from "quite good" to "totally useless" and wondering if it's worth adding them to my spec on my 296 GTS.

    It looks like the price difference between the fully electric seats I already spec'd and the ventilated version is around $1,400. Admittedly a rounding error on a $460k build, but nonetheless, if they don't work, the $1,400 is better spent on gas...or anything else.

    I spec’d them based on experience with Porsche. The leather in the seats is ‘perforated’ with the ventilated seats, as are the Porsche seats, so they should be fine.

    I thought it was worth a shot. I will know late November when my car arrives !

    interesting. The ventilated seats in my 2009 C2S Cabriolet were useless. The ones in my 2012 Cayenne were great. Current DD is a X5 M60 and they do nothing but make noise. Based on what I’ve seen so far I might go for it. The idea of a drop top with something to help cool the backside is tempting.

    They actually work well, better than in some other cars I have. You can feel the air circulating. Incidentally, the neck warmer is also very good.

    Agree, my wife has had several Range Rovers and their ventilated seats do work nicely.

    They have some kind of different compare to other cars system how they work, if you become use you range rovers one's – different one's for you like ehhhh.
    (But results are totaly the same ahaha)
