    Anyone use their cali/portofino for homecoing parade? Specifically putting 2 small high school girls on the rear trunk? They both weigh around 100 pounds if that......I just got the car and of course everyone wants to ride in it for the HC parade. Here is my car for attention and older Cali with 2 much larger people in it. I just don't want to mess anything up of course.

    I think the Cali would be perfect for it. Any risk to clutch?

    My ex put the 328 in a parade a couple months ago and evidently it over heated and had to pull out, pretty embarrassing. :)

    Hadnt thought about the clutch....was really more worried about the trunk with the weight on it

    In addition to clutch performance, I wonder what misalignment of the complex roof mechanism could occur for a load not in the design specs. I wonder about possible denting of the bodywork in that area. And I wonder about scratches in paint or leather. I have a 2016 Cali T and would not let someone sit there. But, it is your car, your mileage may vary. Could be pretty fun if thought through.

    I'm not sure if it compares, but I had a brand new truck and for a fireworks display let some very young kids sit on top. It was dented for the life of the truck, truck roofs are nearly impossible to fix when dented.

    When I was a kid, my dad placed too many building supplies on the roof of his Ford Econoline work van and it caved in. Ever since then, whenever we would be going down the freeway and roll the windows up or down, the change in the air pressure caused the roof to flex and make a horrible booming sound.

    I have had a couple of cuties up there enjoying the view on Duval Street in Key West, did no harm and maybe even some good;).
