Thank you. This watch is from the late 1960s or early 1970s and has a Valjoux 72 movement. LeJour is connected to Yema watches and JP Pingouin. The story I was told by my watchmaker is that the Le Jour name was used for imports in the US because it sounded fancier and most of their watches were made in France. From what I understand, these watches were aimed at people who wanted a Heuer, Rolex, Brietling, etc but at a more affordable price.
Yema/LeJour went out of business in the 1980s. The name was purchased a few years ago and they are “reimagining” the watches from their old catalog.
