Well as far as I can tell he is accepting orders for Murci conversions despite not having completed one yet.

HE IS STILL SCAMMING EVERYONE! Granted would love for him to make money and pay me back. HE STOLE $50K plus, my lost interest and now legal fees. It did not help when his “partners” intervened- rightfully I am sure, but then the rest of us got screwed. Dan was screwed deeply as well, but I literally sent him money FOR NOTHING IN RETURN. Art, pay me and make it right!

Every one of us that shipped our 599s to EAG well before a single one was completed must feel foolish. Mmmm. Nah, I still love mine.

The murci conversion looks amazing from all the videos I’ve seen, and they figured out the warning lights! Somebody else in Europe converted one already, I believe, so they’re not first, but my hunch is as with the Ferraris, EAG will be the most popular.

I would imagine the people that waited over a year and weren't communicated to have a different opinion. The amount of people venting their concerns about their cars on here because they couldn't get ahold of Art communicates that rather well. While it's all fine and dandy to try and brush that under the rug, if that was a common business practice there would be a lot more companies with long threads like this full of angry customers.

I waited longer than a year.
    I’m still super happy.

It's all upside down. But he surely has many legal battles only so far you can run until it catches up with you.

The process has been proven out. V8's are common place to have done.
The V12s we've done with the correct hard linkage system clients love it!
And the tune from 360Trev is dialed in exceptionally well. The torque available from these naturally aspirated engines when unlocked is unbelievable.

To any 360 owners that are on this thread. Maybe best to start a new thread but will start here. Trev collaborated with our engineer to originally design the heat exchangers. We've discussed with Trev and we feel this should be an open sourced product for the community. This is important for the longevity of these NLA computers. We can produce them but will do a group buy set a time frame for the word to spread.

It's probably easier for us to make them and will make pricing transparent. We will leave it to the community to decide. However a group buy is always cheaper. The ducting will need to be figured out but the concept does work. We can work with anyone that has a 360 to figure out the ducting and pulling the air from the correct locations.

Thank you to 360Trev for the inspiration on this clever thought.

I look to everyone for thoughts on this. Would be cool to do a project with the community and it's a good opportunity.

I'm informed that this is more smoke and mirrors too. He did convert a Murci, but apparently its been done with a complete set of OEM parts- i.e. everything needed to convert the car including ecu's, hence the lack of warning lights. So no real innovation sadly.

That's more significant than face value IMO.

Art, once again, is trying to look like he's a leader and innovator in the space on the surface, and fooling people into committing cars for work he has no capability to execute on one layer below. I doubt OEM Murcielago conversion packages are easily sourced, so this is certainly not a grey-area, what Art is implying about his work on Muci's is simply not defensible.

The very, very few cars he has done since the big falling out - like that Azzuro 599 HGTE - I suspect were likely propaganda pieces that Art committed to do as a self-serving tactic to try to restore a semblance of credibility, but this Murcielago information obliterates any possible steps toward reforming his horrendous past. He OBVIOUSLY has not, and can not, change.

The reality is it's just plain stupid to get into an arrangement with the guy. The risk is simply too high. These cars and projects are meant to be enjoyed. Just avoid a bad decision and go with an option that isn't controversial.

A complete set of OEM Murci parts including ECUs.... that would be an incredible score of unobtainium.
So incredible you have to wonder... is that a different shade of smoke and mirrors?

Well realistically whomever is going to make a murci conversion kit is almost certainly going to start by somehow getting hold of the original parts.

Being as transparent as I can, I am unable to verify personally the statement above, so please take of it what you will. All I will say is that it comes from a source that I trust, and who comments on here regularly as a member of good standing.

I have no doubt you were told that, and your source was told that. Can you verify it’s actually true? “No real innovation” isn’t hearsay, that’s a conclusion.

    Nope, I cannot.

I don't think I would be speaking out of turn however to say that at this stage, the burden of proof is on Art to convince anyone of what he's doing. Ferrari owners aren't the only ones who've been burned here:

    https://www.********************/threads/eag-hints-at-manual-conversion-kit-for-murcielago.230513/

Anyway, I remain very open and quite happy to be proven wrong here. If Art is reading, then please do show some more evidence on your Insta page.

Being a 360 owner, I've followed this thread and the EAG/Art saga since it became an issue. It amazes me that anyone would now trust doing business with Art. I wouldn't trust him to put air in my tires.

But the air he puts into tires is way higher quality than the air they put in at the factory.
This was confirmed by a youtuber, who has driven many cars with all different kinds of air in the tires before.

The '01-'05 Murcies were three-pedal only. They built about 1,800 of them. So there might be a few in the scrapyards.

Murcielagos started offering E~Gear in 2004 and from that point manual orders fell off a cliff. As stated earlier cars are all manual

It's almost like all of the concerns people brought up and had downplayed by EAG and It's affiliates were spot on. Crazy.

In the YouTube video linked above, Normal Guy Supercar Dan Hurlburt says the court denied the EAG ex-partners' motion for an order to restore them to possession of EAG's five-axis CNC machine. Dan states more than once that he is not a lawyer and he does not understand the legalities. He did not state that there was any request before the court to "toss" the action as a whole. In the absence of such a request, the court was not in a position to "toss" anything.

What NGS Dan does not know is that there are generally two categories of remedies that a plaintiff can request, to relieve a defendant's breach: legal and equitable. The legal remedy is money damages. The equitable remedies are several. Specific performance, rescission, disgorgement, and injunctions are some that I can recall off the top of my head (a head which grows increasingly empty of this kind of info with each year passing since I retired from the practice of law in seven years ago). In the U.S. system -- which we inherited from England -- the legal remedy (damages) is preferred to the equitable. In fact, the general rule is that equitable remedies are available only on a showing that damages will be inadequate to relieve the defendant's breach. In the case of a CNC machine, which I expect is readily available on the open market, an award of damages in an amount sufficient for the plaintiffs to buy a substantially identical replacement should be adequate to relieve plaintiffs' injury with respect to this item. This might be the ground on which the court relied to deny plaintiffs' motion to restore possession.

It is also the case that a motion for a preliminary injunction -- an order to do something prior to trial -- must include a showing that plaintiff will incur an irreparable injury -- i.e., one which cannot be relieved with a money judgment -- unless the court enjoins the defendant prior to the trial on the merits of plaintiff's claims. This might also be the ground on which the court relied to deny the motion.
