    Sorry for the confusing title.

I wanted to open this topic in a neutral forum for both vehicles (mclaren, lambo) I apologize for the inconvenience in advance.

I am currently looking for a daily car in Dubai

2015 Huracans can be found between 120-130 thousand dollars. However, in the rental car sector, Huracans are the leaders here because they are reliable. 650s that are clean, have 32 km and can be purchased under warranty can be purchased for around 80k dollars. There is a serious price difference between the two. When I look at the 2016 msrp 650s, it has a starting price of 270 thousand dollars and more expensive than the 2015 huracán lp. But now it can be bought much cheaper than Huracan.Reliability is not my concern, I don't mind that.

    Huracan lp benefits

    - v10 na,

    -sound

    -reliable

    -better interior

    650s benefits

    - faster

    -better handling

    -better daily drive and comforts

    -roof open close

    -butterfly doors.

You can buy a Cali T for the price of a 650s 2015. (80k) Its design is behind these 2 vehicles but I think this would be the most comfortable for daily use. This would be my 3rd choice.

What do you think, should I wait a bit and buy the 130k and get the hurricane or should I buy the 80k 650 s or should I use it as a third option?

Drive them both then decide. I have a Huracan and I went with it over a Mac because it’s just plain fun to drive.

    Thanks for reply.

What is the difference between the two vehicles in terms of comfort (daily) and attention?

I would NOT get the California given your options…..it is like a nice Maserati (well not as nice as a MC20) or a Benz.

The other two are world class supercars.

Having driven or owned both quite a bit, the 650s is a complete POS. Even though guy said you don’t care about reliability.

mclaren has the best handling and feel out of the three there imo and is what I'd personally go for

Lambo is cool but unless you live in a big international city where people are used to seeing them constantly, the attention can be overwhelming

What’s the support like for McLaren in Dubai? They don’t have the best reputation for reliability and I know here in Hong Kong it’s a reason why I would never pick a McLaren over a Ferrari, because at least there is decent dealer and independent support for Ferraris here. McLarens are cool cars for sure, but they do seem to have a terrible reliability rep. If there are lots of Huracans on the ground in Dubai, then that’s probably a reason to pick one as there should be some techs around who know how to fix them.

Gap between 2 are insane here, while you can buy 650s for 80k, you will find clean huracan around 130k. Msrp of 650's was more expensive in 2015.

Rentals choose huracan because they are reliable (audi base) and have less problem. I have no problems with running mclaren and reliability, I will also buy it with a 1-year warranty. Doors and cabrio option attracts me. I'm just wondering if there's a 50% price difference between the two.

Seems easy enough. Start with the 650S. Or maybe try a 720S if they are not that much more? The Lambo will prob drop in a year or 2 as the replacement hits the market and people start caring less and less about the Huracan for rentals. If you dont like the 650S, you can get the Huracan then.
