Interesting re Lulu contract. So they will alienate all the old car geeks and old school Ferrari fans, but get all the new woke F1 knobs instead. My question is, how much $ do these new F1 "fans" have to purchase "stuff", and how loyal will they be? My total guess is that they have little disposable income to purchase "stuff" and will drift away fairly quickly when some other fad comes along. Maybe synchronised swimming might grab their attention instead? Oh well. I'm old and am beginning to not care what the idiots do. But it is sad for a company with such a racing and hard edge legacy to go down that track. Give me Nuvolari, Castellotti, Lauda, Collins, The Pampas Bull, and Shoey any day.
Do you think the rich Arabs and Chinese would like Lulu? My experience is they are very racist and misogynistic. After an Arab or Chinese they would prefer James Hunt or Kimi. Your thoughts? I didn't like Hunt the Shunt (Niki should have won that WDC) but I liked Kimi. He was fabulous.
