I love the Ferrari brotherhood. We always keep track of the ownership and provenance of the cars and do them justice. But always respect prior ownership privacy too.

It will likely go on BAT in late August as we were traveling first week in July and will be gone most of August.

Getting a new pump and accumulator. Also slight fuel smell, so tanks being pulled to find cause. Likely roll over valves and/or gaskets. Est $7K

 

note. timing belts due at end of 2025, not this year.

well, just had F1 pump ,accumulator and filter replaced, and roll over valves at $7k. So price is firm at $105

Just curious .. what would those items listed on last page cost ?

 

everything taken care of except
bent wheel never discovered when it was at fancy tire and alignment shop, nor any axle noise
tranny mounts were still good when I replaced engine mounts

when I get it back next week I will do a coolant pressure test but I suspect the coolant smell is from when coolant came out of bleed screw on top of thermostat housing when i replaced water temperature sensors on manifold earlier this year.

A long and educational journey ends on a high note! I wanted to thank Steve (& Andy) for having been passionate and meticulous owners of this beautiful example. I also appreciate the suggestions on how to connect with Steve, though he was on a trip and got bombarded with my messages! lol

I will post a thread in the 446/550/575 forum once the car arrives and her name is finalized (I do name all my cars ).
