    Hello , 1994 348 , car runs awesome all day long, then every once in a while , when coming to a stop , the engine dies like someone shut off the ignition.
    What I have done it check and adjust the idle pass screws that were completely shut, opened them to 1/4 turn,shut off the power to re-adjust the computer for correct idle.......that was not the issue.
    Next I cleaned the throttle bodies and the MAF sensors with the correct cleaner..seemed to work great.
    Then today she shut down on me again....it fires right up like nothing happened . I'm stumped now ...I'm sure I'm not the only one that has had this issue.....I call on the Guru's for any suggestions.

    Having the bypass screws at just 1/4 turn out from closed is probably insufficient. Try with 1 to 1.5 turns out.

    The openings of the bypasses work together (in parallel) with the Idle Control Valves (ICV) in maintaining the correct and stable idle speed. If the bypass openings are too small, the ICVs may, in some situations, be unable to prevent the engine from stalling.

    Was there any battery cut off where you did not do a relearn?

    yes I turned off power to relearn after the work was done...thanks

    Cleaning the idle control valves might help. Mine stopped stalling after I cleaned the valves and connectors.

    I used MAF cleaner spray but any similar solvent should do the trick.

    Thanks again,,,,,,I have CRC MAF cleaner,.......will do it this weekend
