Replaced the radiator fans on my 84 308. Bought billet aluminum mounts on eBay which pair with Spal 3010.0320 fans. To install I had to remove the front valance and shim the mounts. I used 3/8” vinyl tubing. Wiring was plug and play. The fans move more air and work great. Nice improvement.

That looks great, and I bet a big improvement. Do you have a link for the eBay mounts?

The package says its for the GT4, but may work on the 308 GTS/B - is that the one you purchased? It looks very good - it sounds as if the guy put a lot of effort into designing it.

Same package. I think you can install on the GT4 by removing the grill. I had to remove the valance too, but the fans fit nicely.

I bought the fan/bracket kit from the same seller, and they fit and work well. They move way more air than my tired originals. Did need to shim up the motor to bracket interface with rubber strips.

Replaced interior incandescent bulbs to LEDs. A simple 30min upgrade. Way brighter, zero heat and much less current draw on the electrical (about 1/10th). Next up, the dash gauge bulbs. I'm not looking forward to that.

or those interested, here are the bulbs I used (all from Amazon). (FYI... These are for a 89 328.)

I changed the oil pressure sending unit. Well kind of, most of the way. I got the old one off no problem and the new one on with the help of the wrench I cut up. But it is leaking just a little. It needs about a quarter turn more but my special tool won’t get it. So tomorrow it’s off th Harbor Freight. They have a wrench with a little better bend.
I know I can take the whole unit off and it would be easy. But why would I do that when I can spend an hour cutting up a tool to make it half way work then go to harbor freight?

    work harder not smarter

next up the heater hose that comes off the back of the head is weeping. So I need to replace it before this weekend. If I can find the other end.

Very carefully. Insert a flathead into the small slot on the left side (opposite the switch). DO NOT TWIST. Push the screwdriver in about 1/4"-1/2" to compress a tension spring. While pushing in with one hand, use your free hand to pull down on the same left side to remove the entire light assembly. Again, do not twist the screwdriver or you will crack the lens.

The "towers" you inquired about are the the 4 posts of my "Backyard Buddy" 4 post lift. I've only had the lift about 2 weeks, actually waited to take on this project until the lift was in place. I had a pair of Quick Jacks prior to this lift, and while they would lift the car about 20" off the floor, I never felt comfortable working under the car. I can't say enough of about how great this lift is. I'm currently restoring my father-inlaws, original owner, 73' camaro and this lift not only allows me to do most anything I need to do on that project, and when I'm not activly working on either car, I can store them one over the other. Again, I cant say enough about the quality and convenience of this lift.

Yes, I meant the axle stands, thank you. I thought it was an accessory on the lift.

Thanks. From the picture, I thought it was an accessory included on the lift, something like a jack. Now, thanks to Lost Aussie post, I see those are axle stands.
I do own a 4 post lift, and it's amazing as you said. I've considered buying a couple of rolling bridge jacks, to be able to do brakes and similar.... pricey!

Last week I had a new zipper installed in the back cover and the cover was replaced. Also finalized the reversing camera and installed a new automatic antenna + made it work directly on the on and off radio.
