Hello. I'm dealing with a 330GTC and I need the wiring diagram for the AC switches. Can anyone help me with this? Many thanks!
The copy of a 1978 English translation by A. Wallace of 330 GTC/GTS Shop Manual, i.e "Assembly Data And Repair Instructions", I have has a wiring diagram featuring some of the A/C related details, but having never worked on such in a 330, I don't know how accurate and/or complete. I know all four different factory drawn/supplied wiring diagrams I have for 365 GTB/4's are far from either. I highly recommend obtaining a copy (reprint ?) of the aforementioned Shop Manual and believe most of the established/independent Ferrari parts suppliers have them available or can get you one (reprint) for couple of hundred Euros or less.
Here's the diagram from the owner's manual: Image Unavailable, Please Login Just follow the dashed wiring from the compressor, #23, lower left. It's pretty simple, power to the dashboard controls. Then to the compressor and to a relay that turns on the right fan when the A/C is running, even when the radiator is cool.
Wow. Anything is better than nothing... but that sure isn't the German quality diagrams and (especially) keys I'm used to.
From video Ferrari AC systems are this seriel chain; from battery- fuse box- fan switch- therme switch- low pressure switch- high peressure switch - clutch Inspect for 12V at each point along this chain . .
The relays for the system are all Lucas manufactured. I buy them from Jaguar parts suppliers and believe the schematic may list the Lucas part numbers. So many systems have been altered by “hack” mechanics. DM me if you need specific help. I recently completely rebuilt one for a 365 GTC including the fabrication of a front wire harness.
Thanks! I already had this electrical diagram, what I needed was the switch and thermostat connections that are omitted in the diagram. However, I managed to connect everything.
