Yes it had 344 miles on it as a demonstrator and the salesman said it has sat in the showroom for about a year, the sticker was 305,045 and I paid 183,092 which included all title fees. The car had never been titled so it was on a MSO and I am the first owner.

Stellantis is desperate for cash and reduced inventory across all their brands.

I agree that Stellantis is in need of cash but in this situation I believe that the dealer in California needed cash,it took 19 days to get the MSO signed and mailed,I threaten to file a complaint with the AG in San Diego and the dealer responded.

mc20 as a car is absolutely fine, evo car of the year was justified imo

Perhaps you misunderstand what I'm trying to say. First, I don't really want a car like this anymore. Second, the Lefante Trofeo & GTS are a nice way to experience some sportiness and utility but THE HAVE UNCOMFORTABLE seats which is IMHO a cardinal sin in a high end primarily luxury car. Last spring I drove a rental Mercedes 3.0L SUV that was sporty looking inside, handled decently also had very comfortable and supportive seats.

Yesterday I got to witness a brand new MC20 Ciello amongst it's current market peers at a Cars and Coffee type event in Chatham, NJ. The news is not good. It had Michigan plates on it so I think, but don't known for certain if it was a manufacturers vehicle. He was mobbed with 15 guys all asking questions at once. He did talk about having a Grantourismo Trofeo just before this car so ... This guy said some of the most damaging things to have been working for Maserati. The removable roof was broken. I found that out when I asked about the engine cover. He said yes you can remove it and store it but then it breaks???

It was a lovely color green with tan seat facings and all the carbon fiber in the doors was multicolored brown and green. Sort of a camo effect that coordinated with the green paint.
He complained about how the doors opened, that he had to use 2 parking spaces but not so with a McLaren .
The drivers door horizontal rubber window seal felt like it was hard and old. At the door handle end the lip of seal against the paint was turned under. He had nothing but praise about how it drove, whew!

This car had steel rotors with unimpressive looking calipers, Especially when compared to the F8 Tributo? in red with some very splashy took yellow accenting which was a lot more than racing stripes.
That had the most ginormous wheels, CF floating rotors and Calipers (size of my forearms). It made the MC20 brake hardware look positively puny, not a fair comparison but my gawd those were huge. There several other nice late offerings from AM, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Lotus. That lotus sounded great. Left before the MC 20 started up.

I found the MC20's interior to be rather cold. My Bora's interior is a way more exotic and beautiful design. I'm old school.

oh boy, not the post I want to read esp since I have a deposit on a Cielo.

    Whatever.

I like the looks , it's different, I had no issues with our Ghibli or Grecale , I'll take the shot but the doors do worry me...

I drove a dealer demo/used '22 coupe in '23 and it did not have any noticeable issues with rubbers/plastics. Was a blast to drive, love that the shifts are not numb in the quest for magazine times, great front end/steering feel and the turbo noises make you feel like a kid going on/off throttle intentionally. I did not notice the doors needing extra space ... unlike my FGT. I agree, would only get one with CCB. For the cost difference over iron, the performance, longer maintenance intervals and visual appeal is worth it.

Not that it is necessary, but I feel like the MC would have a better reputation with an additional 100hp.

Bob, is this a new model? I don't know any Cielo with a removable roof.

I'm not thin and borderline pillsbury doughboy, sometimes I need to hold the door so it doesn't hit the adjacent car's mirror. The dihedral doors do need space but not two parking spaces.

This is subjective. Steel brakes look balanced.

This is also subjective. It's a drivers car with a pure cabin. No gadgetry buttons. Think F40.

I forgot mention that he said the rear cameras were intermittent but good when they worked.
He really liked that there was button/knob for adjusting ride height so it was easy and quick to find unlike on the McLaren where you had to slide operate on the touch panel.

    So perhaps he was blogger/reviewer?

Bob, Cielo doesn't have removable roof panel(s). It's a retractable hardtop (glass with adjustable transparency). The button is for suspension stiffness not ride height...unless the person is talking about the front suspension lifter to get over humps.

There are too many bloggers/reviewers that regurgitate what others already wrote since their time with the press car is limited. Many owners (myself include) just adore the MC20. It's one of the BEST sports car period...and at the current price point, it's a lot of car for the money.

Nothing is this transparent. It's removed and stored.

I think we're arguing over semantics here his , not mine point was that it was broken.

Saw my first one in the wild two days ago - it was grigio and westbound on I-40 near Little Rock, AR. It took me a moment (or two, I'm slow) to figure out what is was. Had presence, for certain. ;)

Bob, OK, you are old school - but the MC20 is a modern car! And to compare an old Bora with it is a bit out of date, no...?

The MC20 IS a modern Bora, when you compare them to their contemporaries then and today. It’s not the fastest, it’s not the most exotic looking, but it’s more elegant, refined and comfortable to drive.

Respectfully disagree...it's STUPID/gonna poo-poo my pants fast. Lol.

It doesn't look wild like an STO that screams "look at me", but it does get as much attention as my Murcielago LP640...the difference is my Murci get attentions from guys, the MC20 get attentions from women...a lot of women. :)

100%. Can be driven daily...unless you need to get groceries.

Bob, yes, but both cars are 52 years apart. You can compare them on the concept but not on build-quality! For example: the steal of the Bora was not weather protected as these modern cars!

I was comparing the styling of the interior not how it drives or the comfort of the cars. The Bora is a very tight fit for me so I suspect that the MC20 would be more comfortable.

Yes it is comparatively very roomy for a rear middie, since Maserati started with a blank sheet off paper they really put in a lot of thinking. It was specifically conceived with large size drivers in mind. it is not aimed at the pygmy market;-). So yes more spacious than a Bora.

I drove 135 miles each way last spring to view this in person in Canton, Ohio. Then, it was priced at $215K.
I noted today it is listed same (Sarchione Auto Gallery, Canton, OH) at $193K.

    https://sarchioneautogallery.com/

Liked it a LOT but no up- level (optional) audio system, and the CF racing seats (once in they were just fantastic, but getting in and out would be comical looking at me at 6'3" and a beefy 255 #).

This dealer paid $195K at Mannheim CA this past spring, put significant money into freshening it and making it right, and now has seen a ten to seventeen $$$ + loss to keep it this long in their inventory. Could be a decent buy for one of you who is looking - it was very nice. PPF already on it. I'd love to own it but Maserati dealer exorbitant maintenance expenses and the traditional Maserati depreciation keep me from doing so.
